Nice details at the end there, I often hang on to the triangle for too long if getting stacked but now I'll take your advice and re-set! Its so simple, I don't know why I make it so complicated sometimes lol
Amazing advice towards then. I always shy from using the triangle especially against bigger opponents because they love to stack me and I end up with a sore neck. Or they pass my legs and I end up freezing. Great advice on what to do.
Notes for self (IMPORTANT DETAILS): Standard Triangle Choke 1. Keep the opponent's arms inside our legs in closed guard. AVOID having their arms around our legs to prevent getting squished. 2. Pummel our foot under and inside the bicep (like spider guard). 3. With one foot on the opponent's hip, and other on the bicep, elevate our hip to stay heavy and prevent the opponent from posturing up. 4a. Bring the opponent's inside arm across our body before locking in the triangle. 4b. Pinch our knees together to tighten the choke before Figure-fouring our legs. 5. Turn our body 90 degree to the side to tighten the choke
Repent and believe in Jesus Christ. He is the way and the truth and the life and the only way to the Father (John 14:6) Repent and put your faith in Him

i don't think white belts are gonna be able to control double wrist and then open guard, shoot/control spider guard, lock up triangle.
