That was one of the best tutorials I have ever watched on anything! I wish you were my regular teacher. So clear with great anticipation and no verbal clutter. Thank you!
I’m about 1.5 years in self taught protools.. Apollo solo now.. and auto tunes artist.. this was basic but so informative to almost every point I was wondering about.. still a lot to learn but 100% subscribed.. thanks
Best tutorial ever your way you described vibration and latency is amazing. Thank you and thank you ANTARES for the free 14 days and then I think I’m gonna pull the trigger and purchase this amazing auto tune plug-in. Have a great day !
Great tutorial! I do have one question: Is the formant really the non-pitched fricatives of a vocal signal? I thought formants were resonant frequencies largely determined by vowel shape. Most formant qualities are sustained throughout an extended note, rather than punctuating consonants as a plosive. Also, if the formants are non-pitched, why are they pitch shifting with the transpose? I thought formants were the resonant frequencies that define the spectrum of a sound around a fundamental frequency. Formant variation can be demonstrated by singing a continuous pitch, and changing vowel shape (A - E - I - O - U). Beyond just basic vowels, a persons facial and throat structure create their formant structure, and plugins like this or little alter boy allow for independent formant/fundamental shifting. This was at least my understanding of formant shifting, and it seemed like that was what was happening in your demonstration. But I may be wrong.
nice have i Question ? if i have presets on old version for Auto-Tune 7 or 8 and i get Auto-tune Artist all the presets not showing inside the new Auto-tune Artist any advice thanks
Every artist watching this video I know for a fact you're going to improve your recording quality if you just keep searching for tutorials like these.. Trust me you don't need any expensive equipment at all, just get a decent mic (somthin like Rode NT1A will do the job), qood quality cables for your interface and lastly I would recommend the iconic mars comet portable isolation booth. Artists that recorded on my beats use only low budget equipment like that and their results are honestly skyrocketing bc they keep watching tutorials like this one and learn about useful plugins (which we all know how to get for free so that shouldn't be a big deal) and how to prevent all the mistakes you could be doing during the recording process. If you had all the most expensive equipment there would be no guarantee for high quality recordings because it's soo much more important to know how to properly work with it 😇🥰 Best of luck to y'all
One question tho. Should I get the mic shure SM7B Vocal Dynamic? They recommended it to me. And also, since that mic is cheep and this one is more expensive. Which would you recommend and why. I have the budget for both btw. Thanks, hope to hear back from you. ( if you have this knowledge)
Hi , just got one enjoyed the video , I’m still a bit mixed up about the flex I’m looking for a natural sound what do you think my settings should be round about. Thanks
Why would u want to hold it? That’s basically just manually bypassing it. You’re jus gonna get ur hand tired lmfaoo if u don’t like the autotune then why even use it? Holding it feature is not meant to work that way
The low-latency of this software is amazing! Though, could you please fix the bug with the Detune parameter that makes it unable to tune to 432hz? 😣 Been using it easily in 440hz applications 🎶
Metatune would be best for live or wavestune. I’ve tried recording with autotune while recording live and there was tons of digital artifacts. So autotune is better for post editing
So I guess I'm going to be "that guy" and point out that he's incorrect in his explanation of what formants are. Consonants and fricatives are not formants. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Formant

Thank you SOOOOO much for not having too loud of mouth noises in this video. I feel like I can actually focus on what you are saying here.

Great tutorial!
How do I even get to that screen? I see "Auto-Tune Central" on my screen and thats it.
I noticed that Antares Autotune is not compatible with FL Studio 20 in Mac OSX. Will it be like this forever?
Can I use it on multiple devices if i buy it ? I need to use it with at least 3 devices
What does the hold in the middle do and if you use it does it save that note like when I play it back with out holding the hold button
