This is probably one of the best indie games I've ever played. I like everything about Everhood. I wasn't getting such satisfaction from playing games for a year at least, and there goes Everhood.
I like how the lost souls are mask people with faces frozen in grotesque pain, but they still subtly nod their head to the beat while the 3 in the middle do their attack
Well I don't think that the ghosts in this battle are the same as the ghosts you meet while exploring everhood because different ghosts can have the same mask (Evidence from the scene after the battle) and I think I remember the masks having something to do with the ghosts personality or something I don't remember and also the spirits in the end of the battle are the ones who weren't begging you to kill them.
The ones that are mad at You are not The same, they are some NPCs of The Game that didn't wanted to die, for example The mages that are shown later in the battle
It’s said that some of the immortals wanted to die and somehow found a way, meaning they became lost spirts and stayed as such until everyone else was dead.
That does beg the question for why the white mask ghost you says that you killed them in the beginning of the lost spirit fight, even though you never actually kill him in the game since it’s a member of the court of lost souls. He’s the first one you meet in the dancehall. Maybe it was one of Pinks victims in the mentioned "last time you had your arm.”
Out of curiosity, why does everyone I watch that does this battle attack a bunch while there are no health bars? It seems like the battle is on a time limit, and not a health system, so I’m confused.
This song is kinda lame and SUPER long but it does have the most interesting story that comes with it in the whole game 🙏 Anyways nohitting this is gonna BE suffering 🐸

Favorite part of the music is when they start showing you the faces of everyone you’ve killed, that shit slaps
I really love the music in the part where you fight the white masks

You are not fighting lost spirits that you og talked to. You are fighting all the npcs that did not want to die that now became lost spirits

Yes, they are based on gaster as this game was very heavily inspired by undertale

Deflecting bullets can often be easier than dodging
