Dude I got freaking chills watching this. I loved the presentation of every element of the trick. I’ve seen you in countless shows in person and this was the most confident and clean I’ve ever seen a trick of yours EVER. I absolutely loved the moment when you said all we need is a wooden box because it’s not science, it’s magic. Despite not fooling them, I’d say this performance 110% validates your choice to do magic full time. You created something incredibly special up on that stage, and I’m honored to call you a friend. Keep creating magical moments.

@@Berninimagic I wholeheartedly, 100%, agree w/ @Patrick Lyons. Your performance was unlike anything I have ever seen before. The methods used are simply brilliant (the fact that you made them up shows just how good of a magician you really are), the transitions from one trick to the next were silky smooth, while the performance you gave was entertaining, captivating, and most importantly, done really really well. I guess what I’m trying g to say is,
“Yes. You should definitely pursue magic full time. I truly believe you have what it takes to become a star.”
I mean hey, you could even become the next Penn & Teller so to speak. Since there’s only one of you though maybe Copperfield would be a better analogy. Either way, please don’t give up on it. You’re amazing & have a talent, or rather a gift, given to you from the big guy above. Don’t waste it. Anyway. Take care & good luck.

@@covidkid1482 But yes, the trick needs to be improved (battery and network provider status). The trick can be done with one mobile phone, as long as it does not leave the transparent table with a white top. The rules do not prohibit lending a magician's cell phone to someone chosen by the producers, because the chosen man does not consciously participate in the method and only executes orders (de jure is not a plant). But the presentation was very great. Drawing on paper with a non-writing marker reminded me of one part of the TV series Columbo. :)

Here are the clues: There's a small hatch in the top, which he opens to put stuff "in" the box, but his hands don't go deep into the box at all. When the box breaks apart, he lifts up the entire top of the box, and is careful to hold that top towards the audience... but what's behind it? Obviously, the contents were never fully in the box, but were somehow just attached to the top, perhaps in a net of some sort. When he lifted up the top, the contents came with it but were hidden from the audience.

That was actually pretty ballsy. What if the assistant from the audience doesn't close his eyes,...or recognizes that it is not the shape he actually drew,...or sees you ripping out the second page. that's a great risk to take.

When Penn said his pen is not working I immediately thought of the dead pen move, but discarded it also immediately. I thought It would be too risky .. anybody with a decent hand/sight coordination will immeadetely detect the fake. But what I forgot was 1. that standing on the spot with all the cameras and audience and pressure, one tends to agree and not complain and 2. the assistant was chosen by the performer, and was perfect for the job.

FAR from me the arrogance of wanting to give TIPS to an expert hand. I am no magician.
However as viewer i must tell, with fondness, that i didn't fall at all from the drawing. The paper he puts in the evelops is ruined on the edges.
The one he takes is perfect and he smartly had a pic without the edges in the photo.
A good thing could be making sure to have two pages not broken in the edges.
The trick was lovely. NO IDEA of how you did it. But this little details can take away a bit of disebelief

The drawing is fake. He told the guy to close his eyes so that he wouldn't recognise his own scribbles. He then pulled out the bogus drawing -- a copy of which was already in the box -- from the back of the notebook. Note that he didn't simply show the supposed blind scribble in the notebook, but dramatically ripped it out and held it up. While hiding the real scribble.

He setup timer and quickly manually change current time +2 hours - it needs 3 clicks and he was holding this phone for long enought to change it, i takes 5second if you know where this setting is. When you change time to future, additional hours will add to running stopwatch, rest is just pure sleight of hand easy to exaplain
