I think I learned something! I still wouldn't stand on it, since I'm also scared of heights, but I like the talk through the build and your thought process along the way.
I have a 8 foot stepladder and had 27 foot ramps made out of wood i figured how far from the first setp going down would be to keep step ladder level I built a 2x8 frame was really heavy but i hooked each ramp onto it was like 56 inches high my stair case is 36 inches the ladder is 24 wide i made it so I could climb on ladder worked really good I screwed the ramps to the top of frame i built and put a 36 brace to go across so it was secure
I use a 6-footer scaffolding, set one side at the bottom on the highest of the stairs and the other accordingly leveling it up. Dont' use the wheels for extra stability.

I hope ya did! After a few minutes of painting, I got pretty comfy up there.

A pivot ladder step would have been safer, or to use nonslip on the bottom of the wood.
What thickness of board was used for the platform surface?
[11 months later...] The surface is 3/4" MDF. No deflection whatsoever, and it adds a good bit of heft to keep the platform planted firmly in place!
Was somewhat like you done
Nice👍
Thanks, Ian! More videos to come. Just getting the new shop situated!
Absolutely waste of time, just hire a scaffold tower for stairwells
