It's a pretty mild one, but my Writing teacher brought his gaming laptop and a controller to class and discussed to us how to make the stories we write more impactful using familiarization and humanizing the characters. The combined cutscenes we watched after he played the game tutorial made even non-weeb students cry.

@@tapulan2451 Nier:Automata Intro only. He stopped after 2B and 9S detonated their black boxes. After that, we just watched the combined cinematics of the rest of the game.

@@jovitfernangloria4271 Not nier unfortunately, but one of my teachers in college had a class dedicated to games and their relation to art, where he showed stuff like Shadow of the Colossus, Prince of persia and The Last of Us. The intro to the last of us expecially, and it made most of the non-gaming people there impressed.

One thing about NieR: Automata is that, the experience when you play it again is never the same as the first time you play it. If only I could forget the experience just like how I forgot what I studied in university. that would be cool

Never realized Ina was a Nier super-fan! Interesting the music was what introduced her.... that's exactly how I discovered Xenogears and Valkyrie Profile which were similarly unforgettable and epic experiences.

Nier automata was the first game I played after not playing a single game for 2 years. I fell in love with the music so much ! I wanna play it again if I ever get another free time

@Kazi 1. Automata has Greek or Latin origins. Has nothing to do w/ German.
2. Being not a Japanese word, spoken by a Japanese man, he'll pronounce it how he natively would, not how the word is.
3. The creator of the GIF pronounces it JIF.
