Hi I stumbled across this video and being in a relationship with a age gap of 39 years ( I’m 63 my partner is 24 ). It definitely works, we have been together for 5 1/2 years now. We don’t worry about the age gap, we just love each other unconditionally.
27 year age difference, been together for 25 years, works well. Meshed from early on, like exploring new places, cooking, plants always learning, Two different cultures.
I'm in a 39-year age gap relationship. We are both very happy together, though it is something neither of us ever expected to happen. We live in a rural town and receive plenty of judgement, so it is always a comfort to see other unconventional relationship like yours on the internet.
@@MikeCswf you're a good sport! I'm frequently presenting on camera myself, but fortunately only from the shoulders up so can more easily hide my native awkwardness, as long as the voice stays steady. You are really putting yourself out there, more than 99.9% of the rest of us. take care, guys
The question about comments about each other. I would yske it to mean: does Mike suggest your clothes or tell you no that does not look good together or does Nick tell Mike could you let you hair grow longer. This is what I think the question may have been.
Will write you guys an e mail with more specifics. A good friend of mine opened for the Beatles, his name is known worldwide. He was "color blind" when it came to ethnicity . as an African American musician he never looked at race, color or creed, he just saw everyone as people. At my gym I have friends from 22 to 80. I'm a 70 year old man. My roommate is 38, and is one of my best friends. Get this, I just introduced him to another best friend of mine, 33, a week later they plan on going hiking, and invited me. Last night at the gym we were discussing how no one cares about ages. My 22 year old friend walks by and says Hi, I save a lane in the pool for my friend over 80. So we are much like our musician friend when it comes to his being "color blind" when it comes to age. Also, we are "color blind" because our friends come from every background. Respectfully I say you two seem to have become obsessed with this theory of "age gap." Cher, Mick Jagger, Bill Belichick and Rupert Murdoch disagree with you, and their "age gaps" are much wider than yours. Here's the clincher, when it comes to my roommate and I, the fact that I'm 70 gives me knowledge in certain area that he doesn't have, and him being strong, and smart, and multi-lingual, is truly a blessing to me. Last night's fish dinner he cooked was amazing, and I could never get it that good in many years of trying. You may look at him as 38 and me at 70 and wonder, but we don't. Our relationship works on many levels because we are just two human beings with a lot in common, and isn't that the connection that makes for a good relationship? At 70 I do have an elder services person who met the roommate and saw a photo of my other best friend. She had one word "Handsome." I had a one word response "required." She laughed. She met her husband on "Bumble" and God bless but I avoid dating apps and meet people in real life.
Be glad times have changed and it's 2024, back in the 80's you could be in a relationship with someone your age and your twin ie look very much alike. Never found that person so single all my life and no friends now and don't care, someone out there missed out not me.
I am 72 and into Leathermen. Is it too late for me now? I have been single all my life and only within the last couple of years have I started meeting guys with similar interests to mine.
I know where I come from and Mike and Nick come from. In Japan age gap relationship is not that big issue like the same issue in the States. They are Americans and stuck in the typical age gap issue relationship. We want the same thing right ? In fact some don't.
Your description "Explore the complex and often misunderstood world of age-gap relationships in the LGBTQ+ community" What does the QT+ have to do with 2 gay men in a relationship?
Two years together is nothing. You're still the last of drops of honeymoon. He said 2 marriages. Were they to women??? If so he is still in the coming out honeymoon stage.
It's becoming harder for young men to make alone in today's economy and it's going to get worse. The only way for many of them to survive is probably to be in some type of relationship or marriage to an older gentleman that can afford to carry on together and each providing whatever it takes to make it work. And that will help solve the high number of gay men getting older and dying alone. Have 6 friends that could easily handle this type of arrangement, but they're extremely frugal and can't get dates or sex, for that matter, will it ever work??
There is the combined wisdom of both men from different years, and it works magically. Both complement each other. My roommate is going to be my PCP, and he can get paid for that. But he works hard at a normal job, he's never had me drop him off and pick him up - but we did today Dec 11 because the storm outside is brutal. We have an amazing life, which I gave Nick some info on in a personal e mail. The thing about living alone in an apartment is I had concerns about no one finding me if I got ill. Having a companion to live with (and he's cleaning the oven right now after work ...we've both been organizing the kitchen) ....it's absolutely amazing having someone you care about helping you out in life.
❤️ Next Video Will Be “ Things We Wish We Knew Before Dating” lol I couldn’t remember
Do you wish you knew Mike was gay when you moved him into your house?
Would you have left Mark if you knew each other were gay?

Nice when Mike gets a question that resonates and then relaxes…then he’s very chatty. His body language def betrays his discomfort lol
