I found the resort was very low key as well and not that many people were around. It could have been the time of year I went there. It was close to summertime.
I just stayed here 2 weeks ago. There are much nicer and better located resorts in Barbados. The restaurants at The Crane are terrible. The air conditioning did not work in our room. They do not manicure the beach like most other hotels. We couldn’t even go to the beach because there was an accumulation of seaweed that had a foul odor. Each time I stopped by the front desk, the employees acted like I was disturbing them. Once an employee even rolled her eyes at me. I don’t recommend this place.
Love this place! Gorgeous beach, beautiful grounds, clean, friendly staff. Just the right size and pace for someone wanting a relaxing holiday.

I'm going in September. I haven't been there for several years and missing it. Hoping there won't be a lot of sargassum.
