My and my fiancee had our Wedding Test Drive on the Royal Side, let me just say that I was totally blow away and impressed. Not only how gorgeous the resort is but how awesome all the staff is. We have our wedding their on December 7th of next year that a 10 ten day honeymoon in a roundavoule!!!!!!!!

DO NOT STAY HERE! We watched your review before booking and I am glad you had a great experience, but we did not. When we arrived, we were told the ocean front room we booked was not available and we were given no other alternative to stay on the ocean or explanation of what was wrong with our room. I believe they overbooked the room and did not want to admit that. The staff tried to put us in two other rooms that had a horrible mildew smell, and you could see the mildew growing on the air vents. The staff member said the room did smell bad, but he wanted us to not mention he agreed the room smelled. He told us they were not supposed to agree with guests that the rooms had an odor. He wanted us to say we had lung issues and that's why we couldn't stay in the room. He then of course lied to the other staff telling them he didn't smell anything in the rooms when we got back to the office. We were made to wait almost four hours after checking in before a manager spoke with us. We were finally put in a room on the farthest side from the ocean and forced to stay there, which also had a mildew smell. The staff did move us to a rondoval for the last two nights, which did not have a smell and it was very clean. The staff was very rude and did not take any measures to compensate for the inability to put us in the room we booked, which is the only reason we chose this resort. It was anything but what sandals markets as a luxurious experience. The resort was nice, but the staff ruined the experience. The manager stated we would discuss compensation, but when it came time to check out, they swept everything under the rug. I am currently awaiting a response from corporate sandals to see if they will make things right. Bottom line is if you are there and they tell you your room isn't available, refuse to take any other option and force them to credit or refund you and any expenses you had to travel and take off from work. Hoping Corporate sandals makes things right to give us the confidence to book another sandals resort.

Just went stayed at Sandals Barbados with a group of 6 single friends during the first week of January and had an AMAZING time. We had the restaurants bring our food out in courses every night. The staff treated us like celebrities.

Neptunes (for lunch), Butches, Heart & Sol, THE MERRY MONKEY (Shoutout to Jack), & KIMONOS were all stand outs when it came to dining

Honestly we had so much fun on this excursion too. The snorkeling was awesome, the vibes on the boat were good. 10/10 experience. Would you try it?
Is one more of a party resort than the other?
We’re going there this Friday for our anniversary. We’re staying on the Royal side. My main question is how far away are the restaurants on the other property. I love the crepe place so much I considered staying on the other side.
It depends on where your room is. Could be a very quick walk or take a minute or two.

Hello we are looking at booking sandals royal Barbados for our honeymoon, what was the night time entertainment like?
A large group of us went about 3 weeks ago (last week of July) and we had a great time. One night there was a silent party that a ton of guests attended and we had so much fun. A lot of people hang out at the bowling alley. There was a PPV boxing match that weekend and there are tvs and tables/chairs and fire pit so the vibe was great. We took a cab to Oistins on Friday night for local food and music. That was pretty crowded but still a lot of fun. There’s a main stage but I didn’t see anyone performing, although music was playing. You’ll see a lot of people hanging out in that area. Otherwise, the pools were quiet and it was very relaxing to walk around the property and noise levels were minimal.
Thank you for your videos, they are great. We are considering a stay at Sandals in Barbados and I have a couple of quick questions.
1. If you stay at Sandals Barbados can your butler reserve you chairs at the Royal Barbados pools or beach?
2. Can you reserve cabanas at either Barbados / Royal Barbados if you're staying at the other?
I don't mind paying if that's what you have to, I just wasn't sure if you were allowed to reserve cabanas at one resort if we're staying at the other...

Yes, the butler can reserve your chairs or cabana for you on either side of the resort.

We booked sandals Barbados knowing we’d have access to both resorts- but I’m worried that we won’t actually have access since we are staying in a reg non-club room but Royal Barbados is all club. Will we get access?
