where is part 2?
Nice video! When I ordered my Koda they were sold out on the natural gas conversion kit so I bought one off Amazon. It came with the valves, hose, etc. but no natural gas knob. Is the knob essential to complete the conversion to natural?
Thanks! I believe the knob is required to regulate the gas supply amount...🤔

Woww!! That bathroom design is outstanding.
When it rusts out you will lose all your strength, and it expands when rusting out. The Romans concrete lasts to this day no raw steel to rust and crack your concrete.

Just killed the window... should be an open rail wall... light incoming and view outgoing, of the window, is not restricted.
I agree. I would've made it out of steel and then powder coat it, so it'll never flex.

Wrong glue and the down technique is very bad. supposed to be toweled this floor will sound hollow and will separate the first season change or heavy rain.

What is the point of the dimple board?
It provides an extra layer of water protection for the foundation wall.
It is a vertical drain down to the horizontal drain below the building

Why is there plastic?? Wood is suppose to breathe and now with all that plastic it’s only to mold
Local building codes require the installation of a plastic vapour barrier in front of batt insulation. It's designed to prevent condensation and moisture from reaching the drywall, keeping it dry and free from mold.

Yeah, we found this out after the fact and removed them! It works perfectly now 👌🏼

Do you put the dimple board on when the tar is wet? What is used to keep it adhered the the walll?
I would wait until it's somewhat dry to apply the dimple board. The board is usually fastened to the concrete with plastic cap nails.
@paulpgabriele would the plastic caps cause breaches in the tar and allow water in? Or does the tar self reseal?
The tar typically self-seals around the nails. In some cases you'll get defective nails. In this case you can add more tar sealant around them just to make sure.

what kind of material is it?
It has kind of a fibreglass insulation layer (similar to Roxul) in between two soft felt paper layers. Only around 1-1/2 inch thick.

Nice! I just put green board on the ceiling of our porch. We already had 6 sheets on the porch but I was hesitant since most people advise against it but it was the most practical approach. I will end up fully enclosing and it has close to 4 ft eve anyhow.

The cost of the stairs was around $11k. This style is usually a lot more expensive than a standard staircase which would probably be half the cost, but the style really makes an impact to the space!
