Game Modifications:

Strategy:
It's basically the same as Fractured Julius but with a bit more arte variety and he's quite a bit beefier. I can still engage Julius with Darting Claw to start a combo as he's still weak to wind and has no iron stance. Ironically, his arte variety actually makes him easier than his Fractured self because he now has more artes to counter with... and that's totally fine by me since he's now less likely to use the very dangerous and quick Falling Snow arte. His new counter Falling Thunder is very telegraphed and easy to sidestep and I can even use Shining Spiral to dodge it!

Gotta say, the more I see of this run, the more I regret not finishing X2. Might have to fix that soon.
I can definitely recommend it! The story can be a bit spotty but it's still quite fun to play.

Although these fights are short because Xillia 2 nonsense, theres always a lot going on especially during enemy OVL, it was nice to watch you schmove B)
Also the "Elemental Impulse!" into "Prepare yourself!" made me giggle a bit LOL
Glad you liked the movement! I like to try and put some emphasis on movement/neutral game whenever I can so it's heartening to know that it's fun to watch :)
Seems to be a common thing when Tales bosses get more options, (some) fights get more easy somehow. Rending Quake go brrrrrrrrr
Really depends on the options they get! Yuan for example got way harder from GC to Chronicles due to the inclusion of Lightning Havoc :p
