RUclips made this video impossible for me to find for a while, I’m glad it’s still up! I had thought it was taken down, and this is the clearest version of this piano roll that I can find recorded anywhere.
@JamesIrwins78s I'm very glad you enjoyed it! Yes, my goal is to present as much of this old and some of it new, this player piano music, to our modern audience so they can hear what music used to sound like! This piano is from around 1920 and was completely restored last year.
I've got a 1914 Smith & Barnes. Just had it fully restored and kept the foot pumps. It has this exact same player action as your piano. It's a Two valve system. That was a common thing for player piano manufacturers back then, to buy player actions from a manufacturer and install it in their pianos. Thanks for sharing.
What a big beautiful harp! They're not made as tall anymore, nevertheless with a vacuum player mechanism installed from factory. What year is she? Sounds great!

Oooo....my....this old recording?!😂 I'll try to find the roll and rerecord it on the piano - this is from before the restoration.
@@minimalizman Well I’m glad you do what you do, I’ve tried to accomplish the same thing with 78 Rpms.
@@JamesIrwins78s that's awesome! I have subscribed to your channel.
@@minimalizman Thanks, and I subscribed to yours.

Thank you! It's from around 1920 best I can tell. No vacuum pump...that's all me! 😆
My bad - yes, pneumatic system factory installed.
