Hey bro no worries. When you buy your hondata it comes with a usb cable. I believe the hondata port is a USB TYPE B and the laptop end is a regular USB TYPE A so get a usb b to a cable but your hondata should have included one in the box.
@turbotyler101 well you need to socket your current ecu for hondata and get the pins soldered into the ecu then you cutout a notch in the ecu case for the usb cable and drop the hondata board into the newly soldered in pins then you can tune. Id recommend watching a video on it
You can live tune the car. No need to shut it off to upload
Thanks for the tip!
Im wonering if i can put my launch control on another switch, one that is not shown in the options?
You probably can I’ve seen it done a lot of different ways just not sure how to
@@brashgarage Okay thanks for the response!
Hi did you need a button for the launch control? Or did you just rev it up
You use the clutch. Push clutch all the way in make sure car isn’t rolling and floor is as fast as you can then launch control will engage
Did you address/figure our the issue with hondata software crashing? Seems like a common problem. Thanks.
Never happened to me always works perfectly
Laptop needs to be connected to the internet at all times. Once I started doing that on my mobile hotspot it hasnt crashed since.
Hey man, I’m new to this Hondata stuff, what kind of cable do you use to connect the ecu to your laptop? Thanks

@@brashgarage so all you have to do to put the Hondata in the car is attach it to your existing ecu?

can you remove the hondata from the ecu after tuning? or it needs to be always plugged?
You leave the hondata in the ecu
😂😂😂😂
S300 has the WORST launch control strategy of any ECU/Program out on market.
Nice 👍
