damn good song. don't know why people blame bodom for change in musical style.. yeah they changed but they're still good, not good as old times but still good. think that there are bands that were awesome back in the day and now they're shit. bodom is still listenable, quite fascinating to observe their new musical style

Now naturally I have high hopes that this album will be as good and a good pleasure to listen to, but so far I can't say that I'm really impressed from "Morrigan" and "I worship chaos". But then again as I said, since the songs are so new to me they might turn actually good once I've listened to them a couple of times. I can recall before thinking a new song from a single album sucked the first time I heard it and later it became my favourite. I think it has to do with that you don't actually hear it all the first time.

I think this is pretty disappointing. The intro riff is to long and way to generic. The verse is good and the chorus is okay. 2/5 for me. Shorten the chorus by 4 bars and add a guitar solo and it would be much better IMO.

I mean, as far as I understand, Children of Bodom have always experimented with different sub-genres of heavy metal, especially when this song and hatebreeder are compared together. The two songs are similar in many ways..

Three riffs, a keyboard solo, nothing else. The songs on Hatebreeder where extremely melodic and far more complex than this. As a whole, they were far better than this one. Morrigan is better than this but it's not any closer to the old stuff either.
Maybe this track is different, like "Halo of Blood" which was a little more like black metal and this... sounds a little like NDH (what Rammstein plays :P)
