It sucks what happened, I had a massive problem with cough medicine, Bourbon and Xanax. But, I face my inner shadow and came out on top and now I'm sober and working on maintaining choosing when to be happy, not trying to be happy.
Hope you pulled through, bit late.
One of those death metal bands I stepped into the genre with. Rest easy, Alexi and thank you for everything.
It doesn't feel real that Alexi is gone, my mind just won't accept it.

The way Laiho starts that solo is absolutely electrifying. Then Wirman comes in and makes me MELT. My favorite metal duo. Even now it's so hard to accept that Alexi is gone.

The one memory that pops up to my mind whenever I think of this song, is the project I used it for back in the eighth grade. My class did this project where we had to use lyrics for a song to pick up metaphors and etc. And out of everyone in my class, I was the only one who picked a metal song considering I was the only metalhead in my class. I chose this song because Bodom was one of the bands that helped me get through a rough year and I just admired the lyrics for it!

Hoooly fuck. Listened to the entire album when it came out but recently got back to it listening to the details... This track is a beast, the more you listen to it, the better it gets. So impressed by the suspense built into the verse riff while he sings. Adds soo fucking good. Gotta say its a lot simpler compared to the other tracks that CoB has but damn it sounds badass.
Thank you Alexi, Somehow you felt our torment & you managed to express it thru your rifts ,.. I weep at this point in my life , I want to flip off the sky with bleeding fingers but I still forge ahead , You knew our pain & had the rare opportunity to represent us. I cry but I don't cry alone.
