    HomeWork -
    1) A. Salt is solid. If we observe one crystal of salt, it is solid in nature. Many salt crystals come together and seem to flow..
    B. Sponge is also solid. When we apply external force we can compress it. This is because air molecules are present in the pores of sponge. When we apply force on it, air molecules come out and it looks that the sponge is compressed.
    2. Sugar > Water > Oxygen
Sugar is solid (if we observe one crystal of sugar). So the force of attraction is the most.
Water is liquid. So the force of attraction is less than solid but more than gas (it's moderate).
Oxygen it a gas and the force of attraction between the molecules is the least

    Homework - 1)
Sponge It has minute pours which have air in them when we press the sponge the air comes out.
Salt are very small every particle be in its shape but due to small size they gain the shape of the container.
    Homework - 2)
    Sugar > Water > Oxygen.
Sugar is a solid . Force of attraction is the most.
Water is a liquid.Force of attraction is less than solid but more than gas.
Oxygen is a gas. Force of attraction between the molecules is the least.

20:16 yes we can consider both of them as solids
Reason for salt - if we observe only one tiny crystal of salt we can see that it is in solid state but they are very small and many so it takes the shape of the container
Reason for Sponge - yeah it is also a solid because after we apply some pressure on it it regains its original shape there are tiny spaces between it and , air particles enter in there but when we press it the air escapes .
Thank u so much for this amazing session , loved it ❤️

    HOMEWORK: Oxygen, water, sugar
Oxygen is in gaseous state. In gas force of attraction is less because the particle are freely move.
Water is in liquid state. In liquid force of attraction is more than gas but less than solid. Sugar is in solid state. In solid force of attraction is more.

    Tip
    1. Identify the particle nature.
    2. Check the inter particle distance.
    3. Then give the order
    Explanation
As we are aware that matter exists in 3 states that is solid, liquid, gases.
The inter particle distance is defined as the distances between the particles of a matter. If the particles are close to each other then they have greater forces of attraction . Thus in that state of the matter which ha the last distance between the particles have the greatest force of attraction.
In this case solids have the shortest distance between the particles and the gases have the largest distance. Thus the forces of attraction in between the particle of matter are : solid > liquid > gas.
Sugar crystals are found in our home is a solid particle. Water that we drink is liquid and O2 as we all know are gases present in the air which we breath in .
    Final Answer
Thus the order of the force of attraction is :
    Sugar > Water > Oxygen.

Salt is said to be solid because , it is having definite shape , we can say it a semi solid
Sponge when compressed changes it's shape ,but when force is removed it regains shape
    Sugar,Water,Oxygen
    Reason:-
Because sugar is said to be semi solid having definite shape and force of attraction is very tight, WATER is said liquid because it doesn't have fixed shape and volume and also force of attraction is loose, oxygen is said to be gas because it do doesn't have fixed shape and volume and also force of attraction is very loose compared to solid and liquid
It was super exciting class, really enjoyed 😉 and l loved 😍 it

    Sugar, water and oxygen.
Sugar is solid that is why it is having a large amount of force of attraction.
Then comes water which is a fluid it have a little less force of attraction than solid.
The last one is oxygen which is in gacious state which have the least amount of force of attraction.

Mam clay is solid right then how solids are incompressible
    We can press clay

    • @enjoywithaniket5466
      @enjoywithaniket5466 4 месяца назад

Clay is usually classified as a solid because it holds its shape and structure like other solid materials. However, compared to harder solids like metals, clay can be compressed or squished more easily under pressure. This is because clay particles can move and rearrange more readily than particles in harder solids. So, while clay is solid, it is more compressible than materials like metal or rock.

    Homework Answer
    1) salt is considered as solids because they have fixed volume and the tiny particles make salt flow.
    2) Sponge is also a solid because it has fixed shape and volume unless it is compressed .
    3) The decreasing order of interparticle force of attraction as follows:
    sugar>Water>oxygen
because the interparticle force of attraction of matter is
    solids>liquids>gas

Second answer is yes because a sponge is an exception. It has air space within, which make it easily compressible. 3rd answer is salt is solid but it can flow easily because it's partical is so small

1)Salt is solid because if u see a single particle of salt it's molecules won't move from one container to other
    2) sponge is solid but it is compressible due to the air particles between
    3)sugar water oxygen
    Sugar has molecule tightly packed
Water has some space between each molecule
Oxygen is a gas so it has more molecular space

    Home work
    1. A. Salt is a solid , it flows and looks like liquid but at individual level it is a solid.
    B. Spoonge is a special kind of solid with a exception it is comperssable because of the air present in it. It looks like it changes its volume but it do not.
    2. Oxygen - water - sugar
    Explanation
Oxygen is a gas it has the lowest intermolecular force of attraction between it's particles.
Water is liquid it has more intermolecular force of attraction between it's particles than gases.
Sugar is a solid it has the highest intermolecular force of attraction between it's particles.

    Answers of Homework
Answer 1:- Sponge It has minute pours which have air in them when we press the sponge the air comes out.
Answer 2:- Salt is solid because salt remain fixed in their shape and volume. As, the shape and volume of each particle remain the same; hence they are solids.
Answer 3:- Sugar than Water than Oxygen

42:20 answer sugar >water >oxygen. Reason- sugar particles are solid and its particles are tightly packed , water particles are at a distance from each other so the attraction is lesser than sugar , and at last oxygen because it is a gas and it’s particles are far from each other so the attraction between them is the lest

Salt is solid because it has fixed shape , volume , boundary also we cannot compres the particles of salt shape of particles of salt still remains same
Sponge is a solid because it is changing its shape only when external force is applied on it but after removing the force it regains its shape hence considered as solid

    • @vinodpunjabi3423
      @vinodpunjabi3423 2 года назад

Sugar has high force of attraction between the particles because particles have less space between them and force of attraction is inversely proportional to space between particles then less attraction in water because particles have moderate space and then oxygen particles have very much space between them

3.Oxygen, water, sugar. Oxygen is gas and having less space between particles. Water is liquid. So it is having less space between and has less intermolecular force of attraction and same goes with solid
    1. Sugar is sold but it flows because it is small in size
2.spong absorbs air in it. We know each gas is compresible. Hence song is a solid

1)i) yes sponge is a solid as it has a fixed shape and volume. Its compressible because it has small porus in it through which air passes
ii)yes salt is a solid. Its small shape is making it take the shape of the object it is in
    2)Sugar, Water, Oxygen
Explanation: sugar is a solid and solids have larger interparticle force of attraction in them whereas water and oxygen have less interparticle force of attraction

Yes , salt is a solid because the shape of each individual salt crystal remains fixed ; whether we take it in our hands , put it on a plate or in a jar
And Yes , sponge is a solid because sponge has minute holes in which air is trapped . When we press it , the air is expelled out and it will be compressed into a definite shape and volume .
