What a masterpiece of craftsmanship, my father had the dodge version but it was his work van back in the 70ies and if I only new back then how cool these van's are maybe we'd still have it. .

Found by the previous owner out in the desert abandoned, but with keys, and still running at 25,000 miles in '76, i bought it off him at 81,000 ten years later. It was solid and rust free, and after traversing some running issues, I kept it and loved it for a year and a half. Engine (Falcon 170 six) never was made to win the Winston Cup, but it was reliable as soon as the carb issues were resolved.

After losing my last two vans, years ago, I found it got back into a van a 94 G30 just this past Saturday and it feels great. And the funny thing is I used to own a 1969 Vista Cruiser with a 454 in it, with that roof on it and I always thought of the same thing popping that roof on into a van. But hey you did an excellent job

I had a 73 Econoline van w/ 302 V-8 , side pipes, chrome cragers mags w/ purple swamp scenes & port hole windows...As a 17 year old kid in Daytona Beach I was the SHIT..LOL..My greatest memories surround that van..We could sleep in the van on the beach & build little bonfires & party for daze back then...Mushrooms were legal & grew EVERYWHERE.HAHAHA...Now it's all sanitized by the local government..No vehicles after sunset, No fires, No loud music, No alcohol...There's more trouble because of the laws now than there ever was back in the 70s.🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄

Had a friend from Ft. Madison , Ia. His mom & dad owned and operated the Mississippi water frin bar . He had one of these vans, and we were out on a back gravel road going 30 mph, and he
would put the brakes on hard, and the whole ass of the van would come up, and as you are, you have the road coming closer to your face scary ride .

Beautiful van, well done! I had a black custom 66 Econoline which was my first vehicle back in the 70’s. Love of my life! 50 years later, I bought a 2018 Dodge Caravan (called the Storm Chaser) and converted it to custom micro camper van. Been sightseeing the good old US of A ever since. Van On fellas!! 🌪🚐

OMG! Looks a lot like my van from the 70s. My '66 also started with a 240ci, and a nine inch, but l went a little farther. Put in a 351ci Cleveland and FMX auto, '58 Cadillac four-core radiator, Dodge step-van cable shifter, custom 18" driveshaft, big wheels on Cragars, and a custom tube grill. I also put on a '68 Olds Vista Cruiser roof and a sunroof up front. However l did most of these mods in the mid to late '70s. I have a photo, but I be damned if I can figure out how to add it.

I had to drive one of these to Fort Polk from England AFB, La., to pick up some equipment and on the way back the radiator puked up and shot hot water, rust all over the cab, me and the road. Some people had mercy on me and helped with the water. All because of bad design of engine vs cooling system.

MY first was a '63 Falcon Econoline. A Mojave Desert find, it had the beige color as if to emphasize that. The body was the same box as your '67; my opinion, but ALL Econolines were Falcons, yet the box vans (minus windows) were curiously devoid of the Falcon badge the window van and pickup had. Why? Whatever, I often wish I had never sold it.

In the 70's I was a van guy. If I were to go that route again today, whether it be Dodge, Chevrolet or Ford it would have the engine between the seats. Never a fan of the longer nose vans. Nice work.
