Wow this video helped me a lot, I have decided to pay someone to do it! No space for a hydraulic press and looks like more time than I'm looking to spend on it unfortunately
Fantastic job , I just have to watch it a few Times , so that the procedure can sink in. 😂 Thanks for sharing my friend , I subscribed to your channel 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I want to change the rear differential oil on my 2005 Highlander V6 four-wheel-drive but I’m confused if the differential has LSD in which case I would want gear oil with LSD additives. In the factory service manual for rebuilding differential it does mention coating a carrier seal with LSD hypoid oil so that makes me think it is an LSD but I’m not sure.
You don't need to disconnect the brake line, just pull that clip then take a grinder and simply cut a notch so that the brake line can slip out of its holding bracket otherwise doing it the way ur doing it you will have to bleed the brakes and waste more time
yes. the classing humming noise from the rear. Hoping it was the rear wheel bearing , but it was the diff bearings. the one on the pinion goes bad on this model. it was pitted hard.

NO THIS IS NOT LSD. JUST REGULAR DIFF OIL WITH FACTORY SPEC.
EASIEST WAY TO FIND OUT WHAT YOU NEED IS TO JUST CALL TOYOTA DEALER AND ASK FOR PARTS DEPT. THEY CAN TELL YOU EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED.
Yes that does sound like LSD
Missing the part where you installed the races.
I THOUGHT I INCLUDED EVERYTHING
What year is the truck you are working on? I have a 2001 Tacoma and wonder if the your par number will fit my truck.
this is 2007 FJ cruiser. I believe it is a different part # from tacoma. dealership part depo is the easiest place to find out.
