A beautiful lesson from Surah Yusuf, is that even if the closest people in your life go against you, as long as you trust Allah and have patience, He will raise your status and open doors for you in the darkest moments.
I moved cities when I married, about 100 miles from my family. After my moving, my mother passed away, and my brother became terminally ill and also passed away. I was able to connect with my friends from work, but as I'm heavily pregnant with my 3rd child, it means I can't go back to work anytime soon, especially as I also have a 4 year old and 2 year old. None of my family live in this city and his family are very small. So, there's not much of a support system. Motherhood can be lonely without actually being alone.
Girl I cried watching. I remember listening to your Digital Sisterhood episodes last year and BAWLING. I just moved out on my own with my son for the first time in my life, and I am adjusting to / trying to accept the loneliness this move brought me. Everything in this video was spot on. I can relate to using noise to escape the loneliness. This actually inspired me to journal about how I escaped the noise. Thank you, Hanan. May Allah reward youuu 🤍
subhanAllah🥹🫂❤️🩹!!!! a move is a huge change, especially with a child but I’m sure it will be so beautiful and transformative for you - definitely try journalling and enjoy this new period of your life! may He make it easy for you isA 🫶🏽🫶🏽
This video resonated with me. Moving to another country leaving everything and everyone is really difficult also making new friends in a new country is really tough SubhanAllah! i really appreciate you made this video. Thank you Hanan🥺❤️❤️
I live alone so sometimes the lonely feeling creeps in. I am only recently learning how to deal with it and turning it into a positive thing. Thanks for this video. I agree with everything you discussed.
I travel alot alone no family nothing im social type of person who like to communicate. Pray my namaz etc i think loneliness kean you're special to Allah swt in my opinion
There was one point where I realised how lonely I was. I cut off a lot of toxic ppl and watched to many shows for escapism, this was during covid. I didn’t even like bonding with family. Alhamdulillah things have changed for the better. I think it’s because self love is soo important. I also stopped thinking negatively.
I’ve been feeling lonely for so long. No matter how many friends I had, I always felt an imposter syndrome and disconnected. I let go of many friendships that weren’t serving me and the feeling has only gotten worse, but I will definitely try out your tips Hanan🩷
