Fun Fact: Avatar was filmed in New Zealand during lockdown. Nobody was allowed in or out of the country at the time, but the Prime Minister allowed an exception for James Cameron and his film crew.
@@kalakritistudios Lol it's not that at all, almost everything is still done on virtual sets. The reason he chose NZ is because their covid response was so good it was one of the few places film crews could genuinely keep working, as well as the fact that WETA is based in NZ, who have a massive hand in the visual side all the way from concept to rendering.
I am beyond excited for Avatar2! It is my most anticipated movie for the year. I've seen Avatar over 30 times. I love the world building, and mythos Cameron has created.
Well you certainly beat my record! I watched the Original in IMAX 3D and the extended edition in IMAX 3D as well. I saw the teaser trailer on Sunday in IMAX 3D, before Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and it looked absolutely stunning.
Avatar is one of my favorite movies. It easily was one of the best experiences I've ever had in a theater. This looks next level amazing. I literally can't wait. I got the feels too
Everyone loves the visuals of the movie. Don’t get me wrong they are great but I loved the story and the characters of the first film, so I can’t wait to see Jake and Neytiri again.
There's a 4K upscaled HDR version of AVATAR online. You can force HFR (high frame rates) on PC. It's the ultimate way to watch the original! I also think the original will get a professional remaster and re-release in Sept! 😍
Phenomenal! Amazing commentary and reaction. I'm with you on Avatar - My love for it is also SUPER high (I can't believe its been 13 years now - WOW). This should look BEAUTIFUL in IMAX (This is definitely a first weekend viewing for me).
It’s one thing to know the date of the release, but to actually see the teaser and experience those amazing visuals, now even better- it IS very emotional. I can’t wait for this I’ve been binging every reaction to this trailer I can find since seeing it this morning.
I’m fascinated by how much dedication went into making this sequel! James Cameron went to the bottom of the ocean to visualise everything so perfectly🥹 even actors held their breath for few minutes to captures some scenes so we are truly in for a big one 🤩
Avatar 2 as soon as I wake up??? Kenobi coming out this month? Stranger things coming out this month? Lego Star Wars coming out earlier last month and more to come? This year is a W a winner 🔥
What James Cameron did with the first movie was groundbreaking. What he did with this one and the next 3 even more so. To wait until the technology was adapted properly to work in and out of water tells of his dedication to get the story right. On a sadder note, composer James Horner, who did a lot of film scores for Cameron, died in a plane crash some years ago. The last film score he worked on was the remake of The Magnificent Seven. Every film maker has their favorite people for certain things, so finding someone who can do for Cameron what Horner did for the first movie was probably tough.
The first Avatar to me felt very similar to, Atlantis: the Lost Empire, storyline, and plot just in CGI and Blue People👌😏 I wonder what the storyline will be in this one
"Girl, stop what you're doing, get in the bathroom." (...) "I've been waiting so long for number two to drop." XD XD XD Made me genuinely laugh out loud!!!! XD XD XD because I'm basically a child..... Cheers
I saw the original when I was 17 still in high school and it felt like a lifetime ago but I waited patiently got married and have two children. I wonder if this will break the records again since China has grown immensely and some of the older children that grew up will take their kids so the audience will have grown.
Great Reaction, I"ve seen the original Avatar release and extended edition quite a few times in IMAX 3D. I saw this teaser trailer yesterday (Sunday) in IMAX 3D, before Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it looked absolutely stunning. So my advice if you live in London (or close to London) book to see the sequel on the biggest possible screen namely the Odeon BFI IMAX in IMAX 3D.
No cap, this teaser trailer looked 100x better on the big screen at the Cinema specially in 3D during the previews of Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness i was in Awe this film is a must watch in Imax 3D or 4DX :) and yes this is a DAY 1! Also they are remastering & re-releasing the first film again in Cinemas before the 2nd one comes out. :)
I clapped and cheered for the same cliché terrible white savior story again but underwater this time! It took 12 years to make and 5 mins to write the script #1 movie of all time box office = quality Theme park rides never get old!
Absolute trip seeing this after a 13 memories, brought a lot of memories back from that time. Can’t wait to see this in theater, will be an incredible experience

Fun Fact: Avatar was filmed in New Zealand during lockdown. Nobody was allowed in or out of the country at the time, but the Prime Minister allowed an exception for James Cameron and his film crew.
The reason why James Cameron chose New Zealand is because he was inspired by the CGI in Peter Jackson's King Kong and Lord of the Rings movies,
@@crusher_corps Shouldn't he be inspired by the real location? If he's choosing a place?😂
@@crusher_corps Was he inspired by how less CGI you need on the place because it's so beautiful! More budget to the rest!

How old is Cameron now 95? This guy will be still earning big box office money collecting it has a spirit lol
These movies make me feel this is how people who have done Ayahuasca and dmt describe the connection to everything
Lol I thought was Leona Lewis you were since she did the song for soundtrack for 1st movie

Kinda trash trailer 😕
