RMB builds a bridge between 70s soul and Americana, and the contemporary singer-songwriter vibe of artists like Martin Sexton and Ray LaMontagne. Ryan has found a home in the jamband world as much as the folk world throughout his career, able to draw the listener in with soul-gripping lyrics just as well as he can move bodies with a powerhouse band. It's the kind of music that crosses genre lines, blending funk, soul, jazz, and more into one sit-back-and-let-it-play package.
Billy Keane is a wanderer, a taker of the scenic route. To live lightly, to be seek truth, to live a life of contemplative, empathetic expression and creativity - these are the foundations of Billy’s life philosophy, and can be found thematically throughout much of his writing. Billy started writing and performing in his preteens, and his adventures have taken him all around the world, within various communities, and throughout various phases of inspiration and experience. From college drop out to world traveller, to commercial deep sea diver, to socially minded entrepreneur, and always the traveling singer songwriter, Billy’s path has a been a winding one.

My first experience was though RMB about 14 years ago? Luckily I’ve been able to be there for Ryan playing in small venues and being able to hang out with him. Can’t wait for the time I get to experience his band again live.

I can’t wait to see the RMB again. Was lucky enough to see the old band a few times , yet I’ve seen Ryan solo about 10 times. Always a great show either way. Since they aren’t coming to Florida anytime soon, probably going to travel to see the new band. Can’t wait
