  • Hey everyone! :)
    Sorry for the late upload today, I was a bit busy.
    For toda'ys video, here's an awesome video of tug/ramp action of a British Airways 747 :D You can see CLOSE UP action of the tug being put on and the taxi to it's gate. Obviously, this one came from London, as flight 175.
    This is also British Airways' 8th oldest 747, with line number 819. This is fitted with some EPIC RB-211s! If only I caught a video of it spooling up here ;)
    Also, Shreyas and I decided to make an instagram for the channel : the link is below, so please check it out and follow us for some awesome aviation planespotting pics! :)
    I have also updated the upload schedule for the channel here at the following link : nycplanespottin...
    That's it for now, ENJOY THE VIDEO :D

    And you said it was a bad spotting trip ;) Seriously, if I caught something like this, I'd call it one of my best spotting trips ever! That was seriously amazing, the close ups of the ramp action, the engine shutdown... Wow! Phenomenal job :D

    Did you happen to see an Icelandair 757 right around then and there?

    Hi!! I wanted to ask you: why was the aircraft pulled at the gate instead of reaching it on its own?? Does it happen in all US airports or just@JFK?
    Can you tell me the name of the tune at the end of the video?

    • @NYCPlanespotting
      @NYCPlanespotting  10 лет назад

      Hello! :)
      Some airports have this as it is hard for planes to taxi by itself into the gate due to tight spaces. This 747 is quite large and needed a tug to pull it. You can read more about it here : www.airliners.net/aviation-forums/tech_ops/read.main/303865/ Hope this helps! Enjoy your day!
      The name of the tune at the end is Tick Tock by Ray Emure.

    I'm a plane noon. what is he checking for at the wheels?

    • @Nosyarg86
      @Nosyarg86 6 лет назад

      He isn't checking anything. He plugged in a headphone that allows him to communicate with the flightdeck.
