Why theres no Information that you have to buy an extra adapter cable? You just pull it out of the back, but it isn't included. Not cool man

I don't know what was in Mitsubishi engineers head, when they put the board computer button, on a original radio cd. If you will change the original radio cd, with a aftermarket audio sistem, you will not have the computer. Verry clever, Mitsu! Is possible to make a separate button on the central console, with that button?

Yes, on the small connector for the steering wheel remote there is a pink wire. Simply pull this to ground via a push button switch. Other option is to use the ACV radio remote adapter. In this case you can control your trip computer via your steering wheel remote buttons.

is this still not possible by radio? Not even connectable to the computer with 2 din? I have no buttons on the steering wheel. Unfortunately, radio is required. plz help
IMHO a solution could be buy an OBDII adapter. With it you have the same (and many more) infos. Clearly you cannot change your on board computer

Hi, I would greatly appreciate a reply here. I have the unlock keys, the head unit (duh) and the cable adaptor. Were you able to make this fit without a fascia panel? My head unit is a Sony and is incredibly similar to yours. Single din. Thanks in advance bud!

Anyone still wondering, put the black ground cable to the B- cable of the car. It's the little one attached to the left hand side cable. I just slotted it in and radio turned on. Tape it up for extra security

hello i didn't have to cut any cable the black cable attached to the radio if you mean the big single cable. then the rest is done by means of a wire adapter

Where do you ground the black wire?
The ground is incorporated in the aadaptor cable i think

Tried to do it but still not working. Radio taking out goes perfect. Then when I put the new one in it doesn't work. Seems like it doesn't get power...

It is the negative-pole (ground) in the original radio it is a Black cable which is conectected to the metal case

Mi-am schimbat si eu playerul pe Colt si merge doar pe contact si e foarte frustrant.

pentru chestia asta cred ca ar trebuii facut ceva din softul masinii, nu cred ca are ceva legatura cu cablurile. in sensun c a daca cu radio original mergea si fara contact trebuie neaparat sa mearga si cun cel nou daca toate firele au fost conentate intre ele. depinte totu daca masina da curent casetofunului si fara contat sau nu la unele masini da la altele nu depinde de setarile facute din fabrica:)

Se schimba 2 cabluri intre ele, in mufa din spatele playerului, sa primeasca curent in continuu.
Standard, toate masinile vin cu playerul alimentat doar pe contact.
