Awesome seeing Jr back to roots racing! Watched him racing late models in the 90's while helping my cousin race mini stocks at myrtle beach speedway. Also grew up 10 mins from new river when it was coastal plains and just a drag strip in the 80's. So many Saturday nights and great memories there!

Looked like more people were at Cars Tour race than a NASCAR race😂
Being buddies with the owner, it was cool to see everything being prepped for something this damn big. The track had roughly 15,000 people at it and it got so packed the owner had to stop charging people for parking and eventually closed the gates because the traffic so bad it backed up the highway a mile long. It was crazy to watch, and it damn sure is gonna change history. Awesome to see someone be successful to this level when they have worked their ass off their whole life to be here.

@@nicalos007I tried to go. But I def misjudged the amount of people that would attend. I wish I got there super early and bought a fence parking spot. Ended up going home and watching on flo. Not a bad thing. Was awesome seeing the track get all that hype and attention. What a night for a local track!
Idk, I was at the Texas race, the turn out was pretty good
I bought these cars IRacing and feel the best sensations
15th was all he could muster on that closely packed race track.
These tracks like New River and the shorter tracks that are not exactly an oval but more rounded in the straightaways have better side by side race than tracks like mobile and five flags where it becomes a fall the leader practice type session after about 15 laps That's why I like tracks like New River alot of side-by-side racing. And i race at five flags and mobile and love it cause the speeds are so fast and great to drive nut not fun for fans sometimes
DAMN THIS IS SOM GOOD SHORT TRACK RACING WAY BETTER THAN NASCAR!

He charged hard early and wore his tires out. He lost it in the corner in front of Jr. they were running around the 12th-13th position.
What engines do these run?

Sealed motors. The stock cars run 400hp, the pro division runs 425-440 hp

Whats the interest of short tracks ? Thats wht i like with nascar cause, they dont go to ovels all that often which would get very boring. I guess only the old guys hate nascar cause the nextgen cars sucks at short tracks which dont require skill as circuit racing and oh i even can say dale earnhardt sr aint even close to be as good as the cup guys these days of how diverse the drivers are with both circuit racing and ovel racing back ground which dale only wins at ovels.
