I think it will be added. The supply pack was changed to give supplies instead of just ammo; so it makes a ammo only backpack make alot of sense. Not to mention, a test item wouldn't have a properly modeled bottom rack unless the devs just want to throw money at the wall.
I think it could make sense as a ship upgrade that increases capacity for all backpack stratagems and backpack-operated weapons. Rovers can have more ammo, shield would have more hp, and more ammo per heavy weapons (like recoilless rifle)
If it's used to fill mechs ammo or something that would be cool. You'd need to be level 30 or 40 to unlock it. Then it would probably be a different stratagem.
No its a test item. Basically it is 6, but only provides ammo, not stim or grenades

I'm hoping if it gets added the bottom two slots would fill mechs ammo half way or something.
I literally never have ammo problems without needing to sometimes die up to 3 times to refresh, I’m so confused how y’all be struggling.

I got 2 grenade launchers from a single stratagem once. Wasn't very helpful, but odd.
I guess the wanted to try the KitKat approach, share it with a friend, lol.
My first thought was it fills sentries, but considering the disappear the moment they run out, I doubt it. Would eb cool though.

The bug that gave me the 6 slotted backpack also gave a 0 cooldown on stratagems. It was a pretty bad glitch.
