@@Villio. you'll have to contact support. Their licences are subscription-based. Even then, the free one probably needs to get "renewed" (at no cost?) after one year.
my kernel type is missing, and paths? It says incompatible or invalid output node.

As for someone who just tried to learn this engine it's pretty annoying to have blender crashes and server errors each time I try adjust some settings.
When i switch to render mode, it shows 'waiting for image'. Any solution to this

Does Octane render engine utilize Cloud based rendering ? Cos I saw that it was trying to connect to server.

I can't ope the Octane server, there's an error: "The application “OctaneServer” can’t be opened. -47". Any idea how to fix this?

u need to run octane server prime first, then launch blender octane version again
Just to clarify: is this version of octane for blender FULL FEATURE..? or are some features missing - asking since I was using standalone for a while - would expect to have same functionalities in blender version
It misses some one click features what u can fund in c4d for example octane fog is missing and stuff like that
But u can still do them all manually
It's full featured, but you can only use one GPU and there's no net render available.
Can we get a definitive answer to the "Not Net GPU" issue? Will getting a subscription fix this?

My scene is grey as if i don't have a light.
Seeing your render show "NO NET GPU" as well....assumming this means that octane isnt using the GPU. Any way to fix this?
you need to go to addons and activate Octane render there
@@JuanHGomez-kr6ri actually the issue was making sure CUDA nor OPTIX were activated in preferences
1.5 is the real speed of this video... in Italy everything is slower.

UPDATE YOUR NVIDIA DRIVERS, there you go i warned you, i spent two days looking all over the internet like a crazy person, i installed everything correctly, but whenever i go to start rendering anything, all i got was, "waiting for image" and a completely gray screen, with the outlines of whatever objects i had in the scene, i can't believe i wasted all this time when it was just a driver update, the worst is that it's literally mentioned nowhere that you need the latest drivers, you're welcome.
