    At 375 pounds and 2 hp per cubic inch these engines at a modest 300hp setup and rigged correctly on a speed hull of your choice where something on lakes and rivers for the average person looking to build a fast little lake boat for general use these things rip still impressive 👏

    Nothing is like hearing one of these motors in person

  • @Drunken_Hamster
    @Drunken_Hamster Год назад +6

    Damn, in the 400s from 8200 to 8600... Doesn't seem like you need to rev it much past 9k if it isn't making more power, but IDRK much about how it all works.

    • @speedmastermarine
      @speedmastermarine  Год назад +6

      Yes agreed, but since these motors have a direct drive single gear, for drag racing having the overrev capability allows you to have more flexibility for propeller selection.

    • @speedmastermarine
      @speedmastermarine  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hello, this is highly unadviseable as these motors are much higher power density and sensitive to tuning changes compared to the big capacity domestic engines you probably got the idea from which can tolerate such a modification

    • @speedmastermarine
      @speedmastermarine  3 года назад +4

      We shut the engine down on the dyno quickly to do a spark plug reading at the end of the dyno run. This is standard protocol.
