It's a toss up between them and the ABs of 2015. Both a gigantic cut above the rest. No one else has come remotely close. We know the only team that represents a serious threat are the men in black. They don't fold under pressure. Ireland and France do, which is why we have no desire to meet you guys in the knock outs of any Webb Ellis ever.
@@davesmith826is a 1 point loss folding? France were on to rout SA that day. 1 more try and it was a mauling in the works. Credit to the Springboks though, they have a serious edge to them. However please show respect to teams who would be right there equal in terms of winning % probability.
@@Coreylahey1000 France were unlucky in that game, but they were playing at home and had a much easier draw than SA. The idea that they would have 'mauled' SA (not with their maul they wouldn't!) if they'd scored another try is pure conjecture. SA are incredibly hard to beat. They've lost twice to Ireland by a total of four points and once to Argentina, England, and France by a single point. No one runs over them.

I've always said that we just need a fair ref and we'd be happy with whatever result we got. If he didn't make those calls you can be certain that he would have lost his job with probably an investigation into his finances, because then it would have been blatant match fixing, and we've had enough of that. There was zero favouritism today, and you can watch the replay again if you didn't catch that.
The only bad call was the final yellow card for a deliberate knock on.
Every important game for the Boks: put O'Keefe on the pitch and they become unbeatable 😂.

@@tomaslewis7208 I take it back: you deserve to lose in perpetuity if you genuinely think any of those cards were not warranted. Maybe you think you’re entitled to get away with foul play after you got away with nearly killing Grant Williams last year without so much as a penalty, but that’s not how this game is supposed to be played.
It is not the yellow cards, its the amount of penalties south africa get away with, there were plenty of dangerous tackles from them, no arm tackles, shoulder to heads on clear outs, but nothing. After not getting many penalties these type of these happen in games. South africa, has conceded the lowest amount of penalties these past years and if you waych the games, sometimes you might thjnk "wait, maybe i dont know the rules of rigby anymore" then you go waych a game without south africa in it, then you realise you do know the rules but whenever south africas in the game, rigby is just terrible and boring. @jacquescoetzee47

As a south african feel some of those yellow cards against the agies were harsh. If kills the competition in the game.
We had a really harsh yellow last game too and the refs punished a failed intercept the same throughout the tournament but its normal to blame those calls on the ref when he's actually fair regardless of who's in the lead by a substantial margin.
Congratulations to the Boks on adding another trophy to the cabinet! Shame to see Argentina revert back to old ways in such a crucial game, but they'll learn and come back stronger! Both sides should be proud of how far they've come in the last 10 years
