I am an old musician trying to sing for the first time after 25 years of only playing instruments…
It may come as a surprise to absolutely no one, but trying to learn on RUclips is much more of a miss than a hit

Loved it Freya. As a professional singer, your tutorials always put me back on track. Appreciated. Been trying to sing some early Kansas songs from their first album, very challenging. The vowel shape and laryngeal positioning is everything on those tunes.

Oh my god I needed it for the E vowel. I’d always spread thin trying to keep my mouth in the same place 😭 I thought I was doing it wrong by moving my mouth, this helped so much

Hey Freya, name twin here! 😆 I’m so obsessed with your channel- learning about open throat singing from you (and the “ah”) has totally changed my singing. I was wondering if you could do a vocal coach reacts to // analysis of Cher’s voice? I haven’t seen many and I’d love to hear your thoughts on her placement and vowels- and the fact that we can often hear her accent in her singing.
