The pistol l came today and was not the quality I was expecting. The break action is all loose and the gun rattles around in my hand even when closed. I'm going to try and contact them today about fixing it or getting a replacement
Good explanation of loading. 👍. I will point out, though, that 3F works just fine. The guidelines of "2F or larger for 50 cal and above" and "3f for 50 cal and below" are just guidelines. Any reasonable grain size will work. The granules burn from the surface in to the center, so large bores benefit from larger grains and longer barrels by having more acceleration time. That's not going happen with the short barrels of the Diablo. You can go too small, though. 4F and Null-B are priming powders. They burn too quickly to be safe. 3F, 2F, 1.5F, and 1F would all be safe, but 3F in those short barrels will give the best performance.
I live in Bucks County, literally a foot step outside of Philadelphia, and I can get this delivered to my front door. Actually any kind of black powder pistol I can buy and get brought right to my door. Once I cross that line into Philly, forget it. You can't even buy airguns in Philadelphia. Its wrong... all the criminals got guns and they make it hard for every day people to defend themselves.

I could be wrong but I think your message that came up saying it would fire when "half-cocked" is incorrect. I watched a different video and Half Cocked is supposed to be "safe". What the other video said is that it can fired when the hammer is all the way down because it is resting on the firing pins. So any sudden impact could cause it to go off.
I love mine I have a slightly older version my barrels are ribbed together not one solid piece like yours My grips are also two pieces. I'd like to own a longer one also. I have tested empty gun with primers and was never able to get the firing pin to set off a primer from half cock. Not saying it couldn't happen but I was very thorough.

Are you sure with the barrel switch on the left shoots the left barrel ,& the switch on the right shoots the right barrel ? Seems weird they would switch left and shoot right barrel! My double barrels have 2 triggers , when you press both triggers , the earth moves 👀!

Given the slow reload time, I wish they would have made it a 4 barrel deal instead of just 2. They should have also either made it 2 triggers (for 2 barrels) or one trigger with 4 hammers that all release off of the same trigger progressively as the trigger is pulled further and further.

It can't be that much extra and it's not something you're going to carry around with you anyway. That's to say nothing of the price. For the price and size of them, I found get a Mossberg shockwave (4-6capacity in one gun instead of only 2), a sling, and a dot for it and still have money left over for a pistol. That, or 2 pistols and 2 dots,

I forget the technical terminology but getting the fired projectiles to hit the same area gets incredibly difficult hence most makers give up. The real issue with it is having all that weight with a full length barrel, which isn't a problem here. There was even a patent for a 4 barrel car shotgun made out of cheap metal (zinc or something) that died out because of thr NFA. In the case of this black powder version, that's not an issue. There is a 3 barrel shotgun that has a revolving firing pin. I agree it’s not needed. When I loaded up without one, i started to lose loose grains of powder and it’s a mess. The powder stays in with a simple overshot card. That over powder wad is a bit thick but i do see what you mean as it being an extra expense.

I personally use FFF black powder in mine because its a pistol. I think FF is best for a long barrel so it has time to burn
