True to Jimmy in what sense? Nigel butchered the song and made a self-aggrandizing political commentary about it

To the very end I kept hoping he'd play Little Wing.
Watch the scene where mozart improvs valieri's march and you might get what he's doing. Not that hendrix is valieri, kennedy refers to him as beethoven or bach. But you get the point. Don't expect a world class virtuoso to play a direct cover.
You should be able to hear it from 5:45. Unless you're dead..

Hmm. Sounds like a soundtrack from a Japanese samurai film. The only one covered it and who did it right was stevie ray vaughan.
And Stevie did it with love and mastery. Other greats should try their hand at it. Jurassic FM is lacking a clue about music's universal quality.

I think the emperor has no clothes on this one. It sounds nothing like Hendrix's Little Wing. Stringy and shrill
