I don't think it's as bad when you see the insane framing inside the laptop. You can apparently pull that shit off to either replace or upgrade components from that side as well.
I got mine at the beginning of the year. For anyone reading comments, if you are searching for a powerhorse, highly recommend this machine. (Mine is Ubuntu-based). Just about fans, I noticed that they just kick in, even you just started something, and there is no load, specifically with Steam. Even I don't start the game, fans are just going crazy. But during regular work (development, lot of docker instance), fans are quiet, which is odd. So I assuming it is related to graphic card usage
How are you liking this? Does it run hot and make a lot of fan noise? Also, how heavy is this? Really liked your review as you showed the laptop well, every nook and corner. Usually you see others just glossing over the appearance :(

The 7740 make me crazy. High temperature up to max 99 that max value can show from dell test tool from F12 ;and the 4K sharp also not good enough , has a big distance to U2718Q , the color display is make that text not easy to see
Naming the ports alone are no longer sufficient. Because there are more than one type out we need to know the generation of each port. Some can already be obsolete on a new machine. For example, Samsung new TVs already have future generation HDMI 2.1. So the lap;top should be compatible. Also, the SD card slot (now obsolete), should be able to read XQD the fastest of what very well may be the last of these type of memory cards. The manufactures don't typically make this clear. And no one should buy a laptop slower than the peripherals currently in use, so we depend on these reviews to tell us that.

laptop has no issues at all. Use it 8 hours a day and heavy use.
