The 1911 colt 45 is a great pistol nice caliber but limited capacity I would go with a sig 228 or a smith and wasson 40 cal but for work a 357 or a 44 magnum smith and wasson or colt is the best and it doesn’t leave shell casing behind and one shot does the job but I like 1911 45 too
