- Knowing just how much the MOD lie and lie and lie just like our governments. They deny many places we now know stored Nuclear Weapons in many places that these lies went on for decades, could this be a storage facility for nuclear weapons? Well they have Nuclear subamarines nearby so it would stand to reason, wouldnt it? Take a look with us now as close as we could get.

I grew up on the hill overlooking the depot, called RNAD Ernesettle. Until the early 80s the depot was riddled with its own narrow gauge railway system. Linking every building (and there used to be far far more), the interchange with BR, the pier and the tunnels. That's why the access roads to the tunnels are all level and on gentle curves, because it was all rail accessed until tarmaced over. The fort above it is a great explore. I first got in when I was 8. And that was also the first time I got a free ride in a police car hahaha. Mind you it was a Zephyr which was quite cool back then !
There were also access tunnels amongst the gorse on the west of the fort in the fields that you could go deep underground in. This is of course outside of the mod fence, although back then the fort was still mod owned
i don't think RNAD Ernesettle in a big 'secret'. Its meant to go all the way up to Crownhill. But as far as the 'Nuclear' title is concerned, well I think this is unnecessarily scaring people. Best change the title!!!
@@chrisg1234fly yeah, you'll be triggering people lol
The only nuclear material there is from powering the subs, not weapons.
Every Monday morning you can hear the warning sirens being tested incase there is ever an accident involving them. There’s videos on here of them if you wish to hear them, they basically sound like typical air raid sirens
many thanks
the sirens are not for nuclear weapons it is an air raid siren to alert people that plymouth is being attacked at they go off every monday 11:30 until 11:32
I really enjoy this stuff, actually really relaxing to watch, smooth recording nice music and very interesting with lovely views we wont get to see.
Yes, these videos have gotten more professional, & with the occasional hiccup, more interesting & eye-opening !
“It’s only Fuckin Nuclear weapons what’s wrong with thum”🤣🤣lovely tour Matt love it! Nice wee visit from the “sailors” in blue🤣🤣
you knows it
I wonder how the worlds military’s felt about google earth when it came out? I remember being so amazed by it and feeling like I was doing something wrong looking at secret bases lol 😂
I haven't really tried it, I bet there are some areas which just don't seem to come out clearly 🙂
Being local I know of Devonport but didn't realise the sheer scale of the place.
It shocked me too.
Many years ago, (About 1998) my best mate was also good friends with a submariner, and one Sunday afternoon he got us into the Dockyard and gave us a tour of his Nuclear powered Sub. Even got to glance at the door to the fuel rod compartment as we looked around. I think he was only really supposed to bring close family in, so we pretended to be related.
As we left, I got to look at one of the Vanguard Trident Nuclear Weapon subs that was docked at the time ... (From a distance of course) ... surrounded by armed guards. They are SO big.
Thanks Matt for that nice relaxing boat ride!
This is what I'm talking about 🤗👍 nuclear subs, Google earth flybys, funky music and a blatant disregard for the water dibble. Happy Christmas Matt 😘
My friend work's here on very good money!
He has never told me exactly what he does, but says some specialist welders get about £50 an hour,
with people who sort the reactors getting mega money!
They are on stand-by, but only work once or twice a year!!!
I tell him, every time you do a Plymouth explore, too!
I'll let him know about this video.
This was really interesting @Matt. What surprised me most is that you can home in on these places on Google Earth, I thought military places etc were blanked out x
I bet some in the USA are
I used to deliver inside the navy base around 4 times a week. It is a vast site. I Used to have an internal map for finding the different buildings. At 11:30 that building is the frigate complex for repairing the frigates, 3 internal dry docks.Down the opposite end of the site tamar bridge end , is the nuclear area. I only got in there once fully escorted and pre arranged security screened on top of the security check just to enter the base. There is a massive dock crane there for lifting nuclear flasks onto the train for disposal at Sellafield.I never knew of the munition tunnels though.Interesting.
Thanks for the more than interesting content I,m ex Military nice music choice at 11.53 you always seem to nail it
There is a huge train track apparently inside the hills and apparently all the track is brass or copper to not cause any sparks
Fun fact, brass can still spark
Very lax security . They are asking for trouble ! You guys should get a medal for disclosing the weak under belly of the R.N.
I suspect they have more security than we actually see. Wink wink... radar.... night vision automatic cameras and thermal imaging. I dont think much goes on without them knowing. Atleast I hope not.
@@TheSecretVault Military bases in Scotland use ground radar that's sensitive enough to pick up people and animals, so guessing something similar world be in use here.
It isn't so much that they couldn't/can't afford to dismantle the submarines, moreover, they've not yet worked out exactly what it is they want to do with them.
Exclusive hotels??? Lol. Thats what people usually ask for.
@@TheSecretVault I meant they don't yet know what they will do with the spent fuel more than what to make with the scrap
Matt, this video is beautiful. I like the beginning, the middle and the end. It’s beautiful there.
Jesus this was a bit relaxing Matt..exploring asmr!
At 9.08 that's an rfa refuelling ship
Fun ride! Beautiful day to be on the water.
Merry Christmas Matthew!
👍👍👍👊😎
Enjoy all the boat stuff nice one 👍💯
1st class video to watch thank you take care kind regards from me kenneth🤠
Getting the train over the Tamar you can see a set of large blue doors in the side of the steep river valley, on the Plymouth side.
Youll have to get some video next time your going.
That was Smashing. I was fascinated with Plymouth when I stopped there at the Crown Plaza near the light house I heard twice huge helicopter action in the night, and all the up and down land outside the guarded fort was amazing

Please don’t give away too much info on the military and it’s installations in plymouth please Matt. It’s generally not that commonly known, especially outside the UK! Strange to think but this is factual. You’ll have to take my word for it.
Think about our national security please. Gentle request moving forward. 👍🙏
Love the channel.
dont think it makes any difference....google earth just proved that.
A basic google search shows them all
You can view almost anything with Google maps / earth, no question. However, using local knowledge and actually visiting these places provides additional insight to our enemies… I can’t say too much but this doesn’t help us from a security perspective…
To be clear, this is my favourite channel on RUclips and Matt cracks me up.
Visit old bases, yes, active bases… please don’t.
@@serenarchie123 google earth images are different world wide. only in the uk can you gain access to this detail. but yea you are right. no point anymore anyway now we are all doomed to this new world order bs
@@coddeh87 i totally agree with everything you just said my friend....dont give up hope though, stay strong to your beliefs...we are more numerous than the media suggests.
Its scary to think that we have all this happening down in plymouth
Thanks Matt Thats Cool Brings Back Memmories Of Me And My Friends Back In The 80's We Had An VCR Camera Heavy Clunky Bugger We Did Urbex Way Back Then!!!
Get the vids out.
Captain Pugwash told you off on his Pig boat...LOL!
Great video - felt like I was on the boat too!
Interesting comparing google earth with real life and
how hidden those subs are,
Great drone footage and lovely music. Thanks 👍
Who really runs this country and ultimately the world??????
Oligarchs
You do, you vote for the leader every 4 years and that man runs the country.
@@drscopeify Not me mate it doesn’t matter who gets in they are all the same
@@truthsayer2885 exactly don't want the blue or red pill thanks, the fact people think we still have a choice is a joke.
Rome's Vatican Jesuit Military Order own & control everything through their Freemasonry
which own's all World Police, World Military, Royalty, Banks, Media, TV, Sport, Hollywood,
Oil Companies, World leaders, UN, WHO, etc!!!
Brilliant, with nice music for once.
That railway is the branch line from Plymouth to Gunnislake. Nothing to do with Ernesettle.
Really interesting. Didn't realise the place was so big. Makes you wonder what else they are hiding in there!
I like this music at about 25 minutes. Its like Vangelis or Blade Runner
I wonder how many of those subs been passed my house living the opposite side of Coulport where they go to get reloaded!!
This was a very interesting video Matthew, thank you
No doubt about it you know how to piece a awesome vid together stunning mate nice trip up river amazing man
Id like to go much further up river for a looksee... theres lots of things up there, but its more boat yards and marinas... still interesting though.
Grate vid River cops 👮♂️ not to bad this time merry Christmas folks
Amazing, Interesting overview very nice boat ride Thank You Matthew
I didn't think you liked being on a boat Lieutenant Colombo lol
@@spacedust2270 There's a whole other world out there Cheers
Really weird when I try to look at the street I live on with the 3d slanted view and can't see f all but a flat blurred surface,, then military bases are in fine detail on Google earth. What the f--k is going on there??????
Can't you stay away from the pigs lol 😆 weather it be on or off land 🤣
I wonder if they'll buy you a nice headset for your radio, wouldn't that be a lovely gift idea 😂
Soz I was a little late, I was at church, saying things like Havalager, All praise be to Grog.... Just catching up up now
OK good intro, and not too worried, as anything you showed, you can be sure the Russians and Chinese know all about it well before you put this together Matt... I just hope we got the same in depth stuff on their areas too eh?

Truly, there is something great to say about how well the the bricks were made for these once Magnificent Buildings. These buildings were built back in the beginning of Gary's growing years.
These bricks have been able to withstand the harsh weather, well known in this area, better than any other type of brick made in their day. They were generously used in construction throughout the City of Gary during these years.
To this day, even though only partially standing,
at least some of the brick walls, are the only part that can still be seen of the brick homes and buildings that were built all those years ago. Many of the outside walls made with these bricks, are the only thing left of these buildings still standing today!
Those underground munition storage bunkers aren't used for Nuclear weapons. They were / are used for coventional explosives only such as torpedos, cruise missiles etc etc. The nearby loading dock is used for loading coventional munitions onto ships and subs. The UK nuclear deterent weapons are all stored at Coulport Scotland. The AWE at Aldermaston, Vulcan and Burfield are where the weapons are made and put together. There is a loading dock at Faslane where weapons are loaded onto subs. All very secure facilities. Corsham CCC data centre also gets involved in targeting matters.
many thanks
MOD Glen Douglas over the Hill From Faslane too
You said about the tunnels in the hills could they be nuclear dump site for the subs
The music in the beginning is so relaxing
Do one on the abandoned nuclear submarines please , on one airfield I have forgotten which you can see Britain's scrapped AWACs
If you see a cement structure with a big door on it,you can positively identify a lift shaft if the cement is like 2 stories, they need the extra height for the lift winch gear.
Great video thx ! You should have sent the drone over & live-streamed it ! As long as you don't record it yourself of course ...
that tunnel around 8:10 would be cool to checkout, course if those entities did not want you to that would be bad
Great video Matthew 👍 interesting to see all that what we wouldn't normally get to see so thx 😊🥰❤️
Thanks for your top vids Matt and have a good time at Xmas
@8:31 I suppose you also had to keep 50m minimum distance from the shore where the cave entrance is? Merry Christmas!
nothing saying we couldnt rock up but i just dont want to ground the boat. Damages the underneath.
At 1300 did you see 6 helicopters ...?

Explore Drake island the next time your down here.
Do I need to wear a stupid hat if I decide to become paranoid too 🤔?
Yet another great video Matt 👍 keep them coming. Thanks Matt 🙂
You say it's only nuclear weapons but would you work on them
Christ, Google Earths got better
Love your boat journeys. Best yet, well done Matt. ❤
Great video....next time please show us where those caves were on google earth
Very smooth video
I think all the subs have moved to fast lane on the Clyde now . Only decommissioned subs remaining at Plymouth . Of Interest Plymouth will have an ex nuclear powered sub open soon as a museum of the first Cold War era . Kind of thinking the Cold War is still on going at the moment. The new type 26 frigates for the Royal Navy will be based at Plymouth , so will continue to need the arms depot . Your Google earth demo was most fascinating. Rosyth in Scotland has the four decommissioned Polaris subs in the dockyard . Probably too expensive to scrap the old nuclear boats .
Superb😁👍🤶🎄
Lovely tour
Great filming and content, really enjoyed it!
Nice video
HMS Trenchant was the one that was on channel 5 a few months ago where the fridge broke and the toilets broke and there was a fire in the engine room. Probably best it’s being retired.
Really enjoyed that! 🤙🏼
Great video Matt thanks 👍
The power plants on those nuke subs could be used to give free energy to the city , but no free energy no HHO GAS we have been lied to for a long time. Love you're videos keep it up.
Cool video well done matt
I used to work as a stonemason right next to the nuke subs when in devon , very strict, you can’t fart without them noticing 😂
You are the best, Matt. Thanks and Happy Holidays!
I’d love to go on a boat trip along there. My house is in the corner of the hill.
👍🏻
imagine what must be under there. A city underground
i dont think this video is overly clever i dont mind you poking around in places like rudloe but an active establishment i think is to close to the knuckle
You can bet the Russians knew about this back in the 70s & 80s
This was lovely to watch matt nice music and drone footage very smooth relaxing cheers enjoyed that 👍
Great video. Many thanks Matt. ….
Looked amazing Matthew 😊
They panic when you get too close
Great stuff Google earth, you can home in one of the biggest military bases in the uk yet can't look at area 51 in America or any of their bases for that matter, think British intelligence need to sort this one out. Our bases open to all of the wrong people, thats shocking
You can see Area51 quite well.
