that's what I love so much about Charge Blade especially when you get the guard points down; a lot of weapons, even when you get to the "its a dance" point, can feel like you're dancing to the monster's rhythm to beat them, but Charge Blade was the first time I felt like "no, the monster dances to MY RHYTHM"
this is why Great Sword is so addicting.. you miss so much, it's insanely slow but once you gonna hit this charged attack and dopamine levels skyrocket
It’s the same with hammer for me, when I always use the full charged smash, the times when I only have time to charge two levels as I’m charged at and I do the charges uppercut and it slams perfectly into the monsters chin and you get that stun. Or even when I time perfectly the golf swing charged attack and the monster morphs into a nail that needs straightening out.
You miss with the GS? only when you start out, if you are missing with the GS more than you are connecting, then you are playing wrong, its that simple. Im gonna tell you the same thing i tell EVERYONE that says that the GS is "Slow" or "Clunky". The GS isnt Slow and Clunky, YOU are slow and clunky with the GS.
I would say if you like seeing insane gameplay I would check out Team Darkside, now you will see spoilers but if you don't care, but the way they take down monsters in so many ways is something that even us veteran hunters are usually in awe of.
The great thing about Monster Hunter, Dauntless, and Wild Hearts it looks like hard but you’ll naturally get better understanding spacing, monsters attacks, etc.
4:48 Honestly I never used the training room to practice weapons. Maybe not for you, but the way I learned was just hunting a monster that I was confident that I memorized the moves of but is still fairly difficult, and for a lot of people that monster is Rathian but maybe it'll be something different for you.
@@KenMochii Yep elder dragon or it's not practice. Just made my first CB weap and I went for tempered lunastra.😅 CB op after doing swaxe you literally get how to savage axe or do small aed for flinch. Nearly carted at first but I swinged it around on round 2 it follows same pattern of swaxe maybe all weapon use same pattern it's just the phial type melees save the punishment later during mob enrage.
I've been a player of MH since the first game on the PS2, and I'm not able to pull off what these amazing players can do. I just love the franchise and always enjoy seeing new people become exposed to MH and willing to try it out, I'm so happy that World got widespread attention and I hope more and more will be willing to give Wilds a chance. I know there are some who didn't enjoy Rise, so I hope it doesn't discourage them from trying Wilds.
As an mh vet in my own right I will say it's tough to do what these players do they literally know every single move and movement of a monster by heart and that takes time at the very least but as I'll say to everyone who's atleast somewhat interested in monster hunter I say play it it can be grindy at times but it is well worth it
So far I have only partially mastered 4 weapons after 100s of hours😂. It takes time and I like that every weapon has something to deal with any slow/ clunky feel when you first use the weapon. Like Greatsword is slow but it has tackle, gunlance cay reload and discharge whole baragge in a combo(ryt?) chargeblade can guardpoint from neutral and midcombo, longsword can parry anything... The list goes on and I have fun learning every weapon it's like a free dlc every weapon
I will never be a 10th as good but i can try until i learn and pull off thr flashy thing evrry once in a while. I just think its amazing how good the game mechanics are and how anime it looks and feels.
Just play the game and learn on your own terms. Pick up EVERYTHING, mushrooms, carves, herbs, honey, all of it, read the tutorials, read what each item in your pouch does, figure out what items you need for each hunt, and go to the training room to learn how your weapon works. After that, you really dont need to be told anything, just play it and have fun, theres no standard to hold yourself to, you dont need to "Be good" at anything, your hunter only knows what YOU know as a player, so its up to YOU to figure things out, and if you are struggling, then try and learn what you are doing wrong and do better next time.
I've been playing MH since the third game, over time you gain experience and it starts to not be so difficult to do these things in the video, nowadays rajang is my bitch

I love this feeling in monster hunter, when you and your weapon are in sync and fighting a monster is not longer a fight it's a Dance
“To me, every fight is a conversation, every move is a question, our reactions are the responses”

I don't think I'll ever be that good in ANY game lol
Just wait till she react to team darkside beating every monster less than 2 minute
God is it just incredible how good some people get at games

Should check out Team Darkside Monster Hunter Gone Wrong series and see both sides of the coin of when it goes wrong for Monsters and Hunters alike.
Such perfect timing! That was insane.
Training room only helps you too know the keybind and moves. Keep hunting is the thing that's making you good at this game.
Keep in mind this was filmed during her second stream of MHW so she's been fighting some monsters and getting some practice since then
@@bondansyamsu901 Yep dual blades is all feeling since it's very simple weapon.
Being this good at MHW shouldn't ever be your goal as a beginner. But its incredibly cool to watch! Cant wait to see you evolve more

5:32 I'm sorry, that's a festering pile of thousands of corpses
5:00 Guard Points are a hell of a drug
It's guard 3 not 5 with constitution to not run out of stamina or dash juice.
@@datuputi777 guard points as in when you block an attack with a certain part of your animation. 5:00 is the timestamp in the video

rathian is a very good training monster for swapping weapons and learning how to use them
Yeah, I practiced using the CB and Hammer with Raging brachy and F. Rajang 💀

U should watch team darkside legend vid if u want à similar feeling to this or just watch the speedrun they do
You should see mikarai channel if you're interested in watching a MH hunt that looks like a movie like this
Ratatouille: "Anyone can cook." Not everyone can be a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere."
Ooh! Before you fight Anjanath, I would highly recommend checking out Papa Gabe’s Monster matchup!

wish I was that good. though you do occasionally get those, "did i just do that?" moments
if you love the game and trust your weapon, you can be as awesome as you want
with practice, you can be good and also identify the monster attack patterns
I've been playing MH since the third game, over time you gain experience and it starts to not be so difficult to do these things in the video, nowadays rajang is my bitch
Team Darkside is going to blow your mind
With time and practice and enough patience even a rookie can make a god cry
Oh boi now j would suggest to view team darkside compilation they are awesome
"I like this area, this area is so beautiful" No one tell her.
5:20 Look, ma! I'm famous!

All these monsters are Master rank 5 + !

Streamer discovers GS at stage 10.
