Robins setup is one of the best on the channel. I love that the scales are not even. I think you were too picky on that one!
I wouldn’t go that far as to say the best but it was certainly an awesome setup. I don’t think I was being too picky either. not everyone takes home the seal so there can’t be any free passes.

Probably because it’s not very unique. It’s kind of like a bunch of rgb slapped onto the walls with Star Wars mixed in, y’ know?
It's shit, throwing money and RGB in to a setup does not guarantee a SoA. Also, 9900K and a 2080Ti clearly the priorities is also mixed up.
im a hardcore star wars fan myself but it was a little to cluttered up. Like seeing the helmet, saber and poster collection was cool af but everything else was a lil too much.

Personally, I loathed that setup a whole lot. Too much going on, imo. I love some aspects to it, but there is a whole lot I just didn’t like about it. Like the sabres on the wall, you’d literally have to turn each one of them on, which isn’t practical. He’s just a nerd hoarder, 😂. Not to be confused with a nerf herder.
W episode. Almost seemed like an ultimate edition bc of how clean each setup looked. My favorite by far was Robins setup.

I rly dont agree, the monitors dont rly match very well and it looks kinda plasticky. Also the idea of him not using the setup and only using the much less impressive setup in the back rly makes it impossible for me to place him at nr1. Il have to go with ryan’s setup for sure
@@Helioger I do use the set up for more than just the background. I should've explained that better. These computers are used for streaming, but they're also productivity. I do edit my own videos. all of the custom shelves and desk are made out of wood. If you could change anything in my set up, but would it be?

I recently got into setups wars and I love the show and all of the amazing setups! I’m currently making a setup of my own. Maybe one day I can submit my setup 🙂
I like the small white build. It’s not a lot, but at least it’s something. I often worry about moving around and switching apartments when my leases are up and how much space I’ll have/how my setups will be. So that setup really inspired me to make it work. I really love gaming and streaming. I recently made affiliate on Twitch and I have 230+ followers. However, it hasn’t been easy getting there. I’ve been streaming since Nov/Dec 2022 and I’m only at 230+ on twitch. It took me like 6 months to make affiliate. I would say my resolution is to be more consistent with streaming and fostering community.
I put a lot of time and money into my setup so that I can game and stream comfortably while being new to all of this. TechSource helped me a lot when I was learning about computers and peripherals. I was so obsessed with the Girl Editions, please keep those keeping. I’ll be submitting soon, but my cable management is actually terrible. Anyway, thank you Edgar for creating this sizable online community.
I really liked the simplicity of Jakob's and the gear/layout from Robin. Thank you again for another great video! As for me, my goals for 2023 is: finally finish my setup, finally start streaming and getting the mental health help I need. Hope you and your family have a Healthy 2023!

I'm a 15 year old freshman and have never had a girlfriend. I've always found myself unattractive since I've never had a shot at a relationship. For my new years resolution, I want to start working out every week and build muscle while looking more attractive. Lol, Ryan's remote stash is funny. Most I.R. controlled RGB LEDs use the same signals to do the same thing so 10 of those remotes could be put in storage. There are also identical 2 RF remotes for controlling leds there so he can also put one of those in storage as well. I'm not familiar with the rest so I can't say what is redundant there or not but he can easily reduce his remotes from 19 down to 8 without losing any functionally whatsoever.
Pro tip leave one of the redundant remotes near the entrance/exit of the room, that way if you are away from the desk and decide to leave you can still turn everything off without taking the remote from your desk (and risk losing it or forgetting to put it back in the desk for when you want it). Also one by the bed/couch is also nice.

@@ArcVsCalusYea, the whole setup was under £1000, with the pc being £800 with a r5 5600 and a 6700xt. I also got a curved 165hz monitor for £120!

I was really hoping the last submission would get a seal of approval. The set up isn't well balanced but has enough character to set it self apart. But I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
it was shit rbg littlery "cheap Rgb you can see from the remotes" , with alot of stuff ontop and plug and play rbg tiles splaterd random over the walls where ther was space.
dont get me wrong alot of great "items" but the whole package was garbage vs 40k

My room is way to small for a good looking setup but I have a double bed. Should I get rid of the double bed and make my room bigger by taking it away?
I have a great recommendation for JAKOB'S set up. I have the same Corsair k65 keyboard but felt something wrong with the sound when typing so I opened up un put some thin layer of foam to make that typing expierence better and it really does help. It also doesn't require any special skills.
Been watching your vids since middle school now im graduated, I built my first pc thanks to you now hopefully i can save up more to have a better setup and be on here one day !

my new year’s resolution is to be featured on tech wars twice once in the beginning of the year and one at the end to show to show how far you can go in just a years time with the proper saving and budgeting hopefully i will be able to record my experience for my personal sake for i’m getting back into setups and pcs for the first time in 5 years i wish my self and fellow setup builders good luck for this year it will be a blast to see the next wave of pcs hopefully some truly ground breaking setups will emurge good luck everyone and happy new years i know we all have big plans and ideas❤🎉

Honestly, Paul should have gotten a seal of approval. That took some real creativity to have his PC as a backdrop to what he really does, and shows it off. Very creative case, all custom, just a very good deal. For Ryan, he had money, and could buy all that stuff. Its very neat to flex all that, but it really also clutters up the place. I will say his dining room was pretty cool.

I don't like making new year's resolutions, but I have had a goal for a while of being able to save up $4k - 5k to build a balls to the wall setup. My current PC has served me well, but it is definitely showing it's age, my gaming monitor has a crack in it, and a lot of setup related purchases I made in the past weren't very good long term. I want to build something that will provide a solid foundation that I am satisfied will allow for easy upgrades further down the line.
My New Year’s resolution is to become monetized on RUclips, I’m either gonna try out gaming or setup vids. My setups vids has been getting the most views so I might have to go with that. I look up to you man, keep up the work!
