Welcome to the channel of Todd Family Farm
We are a family farm in central Iowa. There's Papa and Granny, Adam and Jill and 7 children.
This is a channel started and ran by the kids with their parents help, we hope you subscribe.

Here in the mountains east TN our snow may not be as deep, our winds may not be as vicious, and our temps are a bit milder, but remembering what I went through in Orange City, Burlington, and Keokuk, we're pretty much as uncomfortable as y'all are. Thanks for the walk Adam and we don't miss it one bit, although what we have right now on the mountain, ain't very far removed from what you're contending with! The big difference between here and there though are the roads. Mountain roads get real tricky with snow and ice. Stay safe, stay warm and God bless you one and all...

Thanks for the update I know this weather has really been rough for you guys. Here in South Central Ky it’s currently 10 degrees with a wind chill of 0 . Next week it’s supposed to be in the 50’s and rain crazy weather. Take care and stay safe 👍

I'm like those sheep. I stick my head out and only wished I didn't have to go out 😂. Brrrrrrrr. We have around 8 inches here in the mountains of almost heaven. I'm about done shoveling already. Keep warm out yonder. TC God bless y'all.

I love that wind blowing the snow all over the place and New York had lake affect snow storm up north of a sweet go further on a great lakes the wind hit, the lakewater goes up an air. It turns into snow sometimes you can’t even see through the windshield snowing so hard and all you can do follow red light in back of your car will follow snowplow, yellow lights and fun and I plow it 30 miles, 30, 35 mph. You can say oh hope to God that’s no one to be in front of you you can’t even see a car. It’s beautiful having snowmobile take it out on the lake and it’s frozen enough. I hope I can remember in the 70s friends go on a lake and race on a lake in the car and I bet it was fun at those days. Take a snowmobile to other bars and some beers. Those days cops were easy they used to take you home when you’re drunk but today they don’t got to many people watching remember my two best friends were playing in some mud bottle in the road he 687 somewhere around there. It was fun. Have a nice day. Ships looks good, it’s funny we got the truck stuck. You know on the road out here on the State Road. We are on the road currently powering and salting it 24 hours two shifts I used to work 12 noon to 12 at night and I enjoy my job. Tell these new workers all they wanted to push the old timers out and I say I had enough I’m not going to work with the guys like them likes to go in the office quite about everything try to get you in trouble when you’re in charge they did that to me on one year so I told my three guys I was working with we only got one rat in this group so I had to punish I’m working and the guys holler at him we’re not gonna play his games guys told him stay out of the office like me. I never rat out a person in my life and I can’t stand people like that. I respect my crew guys I work with 34 years. Have a nice day. Have fun playing in the snow. 11-12 years ago we had this same type of weather and then a pretty wet spring if I remember correctly 😊 I am convinced God moves the weather in cycles every so many years.. he says in Psalms he renews the face of earth

Blizzards are hard to come by, the winds must be 30+ mph SUSTAINED for 3 straight hours. Sustained is the hard part, for 30+ mph sustained speed, gusts can be up around 50 mph, it's hard to sustain 30 mph as the lull low speed, for 3 straight hours. This is terminology better suited for the artic circle.
