    Oh geez...my favourite song ever.
One of my best memories ever...going to visit my relatives in Calgary and my cousin surprised me...she had bought tickets to see them at the Jubilee Auditorium. Also saw them here in Toronto.
The date today March 5, 2024.
It was meant to be this clip popped up.
It will be 20 years ago in 3 days that my dear cousin Marilyn died. 😪
Sometimes things happen for a reason and seeing this clip made me smile and tear up at the same time.
Actually everything happens for a reason.

One of Canada's most positive, happy songs from 1971.
    Lyrics to "Sweet City Woman"
    Well, I'm on my way
    To the city lights
    To the pretty face
That shines her light on the city nights
And I gotta catch a noon train
I gotta be there on time
Oh, it feels so good to know she waits at the end of the line
    Sweet, sweet city woman
I can see your face, I can hear your voice
    I can almost touch you
    Sweet, sweet city woman
And the banjo and me, we got a feel for singing, yeah, yeah
Bon, c'est bon, bon, bon, c'est bon, bon
Bon, c'est bon, bon, bon, bon, bon
Bon, c'est bon, bon, bon, c'est bon, bon
Bon, c'est bon, bon, bon, bon, bon
    So long, ma
    So long, pa
    So long, neighbours and friends
    Like a country morning
    All snuggled in dew
Ah, she's got a way to make a man feel shiny and new
And she sing in the evening
    Old, familiar tunes
And she feeds me love and tenderness and macaroons
    Sweet, sweet city woman
I can see your face, I can hear your voice
    I can almost touch you
    Sweet, sweet city woman
And the banjo and me, we got a feel for singing
    Sweet, sweet city woman
Oh she's my sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet city woman
    Sweet, sweet city woman
oh my sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet city woman
    Everybody
Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet city woman
Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet city woman
Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet city woman
Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet city woman
Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet city woman
Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet city woman

by the way,j I got introduced to this song in high school. The teacher played it for the whole class, he was an older gentleman, but loved this song. Good man, when I hear it, I bow my head for a moment in remembrance of him.

I think they combined some lip synching with actual live instrumentation. But I could be wrong! :)

Great job after all these years. You guys sound just like the 1970's and looked like you had a great time recording it. Nice mix of old clips too. Stay well.

I did get the extreme privilege to see the band in Victoria at the McPherson playhouse, June 23, 2022. It was a great show!
