I guess mine would be regulated/restricted once I do work with it. it's a mix of open and closed. I would call art rpg as my final plan is for it to be on discord. I do have the horn thing but I think it's fine as those are open traits.
I would just call it restricted just because closed with open options is kind wordy. Love closed species though. So has nothing to due with the stigma they can have. I used to not be a fan but got what hype around them was about untill I joined one. Most fun I've had in art communitys. Got me to actually be socail online and make friends.

The reason I personally dislike "closed" species is because the creators and their more fervent fans are incredibly hostile towards people who want to make their own character from that species. They will usually bully and harass people claiming copyright infringement until the character that "breaks the rules" is removed or deleted.
However, legally, there are no rules. Copyright does not protect a species. It only protects individual characters. If you want to get art of a Xenomorph from the Alien franchise, and give it something that makes it unique; whether that be their background, or a physical attribute that makes them stand out, then you're free to do so under copyright laws.
So, if you are thinking of making a "closed" species, make sure you realize that once you publish it, there's no legal protection, and if you do go after someone who, either knowingly or unknowingly made their own character using your species' traits, you're the one in the wrong.
