Moving into a fourth game I had to brush off the loss and get back to dominance! My plan was to use the 82nd and plan a surgical strike deep into enemy territory. Division 2, Playoff Semi Finals versus Ajoor. This is game 4 of a best of 5.

that Blackhawk landing was so cool
Especially since they could use those door gunners to great effect. Very cinematic.

My biggest blunder for this game is me wasting 300 points on a cluster BM-30 SMERCH mistakenly confusing it for an HE BM-27 URAGAN 🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂.

It's crazy how much of a difference those stingers and avengers made. 82nd has such efficient AA options.
Waiting for my AA support on the left side turned out to be a really good idea!
I'm impressed with how effective those stingers were. I remember them being kind of useless in Wargame, especially against planes.
This is what I said in the previous game's upload. Ground AA is super OP atm and as long as you have a threshold level planes become a complete waste of points.

Amazing contrast between your 1, 2, 4 games and your 3 game. If I were inclined to be crafty, I might have suspected you of deliberately throwing game 3 to US IV's air, in order to lure them into a sense of complacency and doubling down on that air again in game 4. :D
Last game, US IV showed how quickly they could respond to developing situations and opportunities. This time, that quickness unfortunately fed them face-first right into your preemptive counters.

Must've been a maxed out pucker factor for the squad in the blackhawk with the narrow strela miss at around the 17 minute mark. It's scary as hell landing like that even when things are going perfectly, to say nothing of people on the ground trying to give you a more abrupt landing like that!

I just realised that in these 4 battles, NATO/BLUFOR faction won every battle they appeared in.
Glad to see you started spamming out ground AA in this game. Pretty easy to see how effective it is for such little cost.. couple of manpads and planes are effectively useless.

Feel like Vulcan should be in a higher division. Most of these games have been utter stomps.

right now vulcan is probably in the positioon of too good for 2nd div but too inexperienced in the 1st div...

He was hoping that Vulcan did not bring AA to play which Vulcan never normally does. But Vulcan tricked him and did. And well that guy over invested in Airpower and it got shredded and had spent a lot of on ground forces.
Two ways is such a pain in the ass watching helplessly as my bombers fuck up do to terrain elevation

His plan seemed to be doing lots of damage early with aircraft like the last game, but Vulcan had just way too much AA.
@@PowderedToastMan3 Yeah I would agree, he was hoping to exploit Vulcan's normal MO of not deploying AA in the start/early. But Vulcan used that to his advantage and took him by surprise with AA.

Man idk if your specific deck was the perfect counter for his deck or it's stupid OP like thr US 3rd Armored Div
vulcan invested heavily in AA and the opponent pushed ground attack aircraft too much. any regiment is gonna seem OP when you are getting 4-6 AA shots at enemy planes
@@matt-bl8cx are Stingers in WARNO always been this broken or was Vulcan just extremely lucky with how he placed his AA?
@@lolifico_banzago They used to be very OP, but are just good now. The airplanes he shot down wasn't of the highest quality, lets just leave it at that ;)

LGB doesnt work cause youre flying over the mountain. when u call it in have it circle to the left side of the map and then engage to get the bombs to drop accurately
I don't get it... I'm beginning to think this stuff is scripted. Not once in 400 hours of gameplay have I EVER Seen the hundreds of people I played have scenarios like this... at all. Dude rolls the softest units out that go completely unmolested for five minutes and then gets attacked piecemeal. I've only ever seen that in these videos. What is going on?
