Nice video. I'm about to throw the same setup in a Gen V LT. Definitely stealing your oil drain hack. Was wondering after you've been running it for a year, how's it holding up? Would a dry sump for crank case pressure release be overkill for a kit like this?
Right now we just have our unboxing and comparisons video. ruclips.net/video/A-qmmruJtS8/видео.html as soon as the engines back and we get it back in we’ll have a review of it installed.
Quick question i have a 40k trans cooler installed already. My plan is to keep the trans cooler. will anything happen if i dont connect the trans lines to the radiator?
You’re right you have way more of an idea of what’s going on in my life than I do! So sorry I’ve been so selfish and haven’t posted this video for you.
Your idea for the oil drain back to the oil cooler is a dumb idea. The oil cooler is pressurized, and the turbo won't get adequate oil flow to keep the turbo's shaft lubricated and cool. You can't pressurize both the oil supply and return.
U not Ganna post anymore vids about this
You my hero I been thinking about getting this kit !!! I can’t wait to see the install being done
Stoked to get the engine back and get it installed!
The kit you have linked is no longer available on Amazon, any suggestions?
Can't wait to see more vids on this!
Whered you go?! We need the install lol
The Amazon link for this turbo kit don’t work . Is there a link you could send
It’s currently out of stock, so there’s this option and you’ll have to buy the down pipe and air filter separately. amzn.to/3zZtupg amzn.to/3MIvcTu
@@CaswellCustoms right on , thanks brotha 🦾 can’t wait I’m definitely doing a turbo to my 07 Silverado classic

Don't do it, the oil cooler is pressurized. The turbo needs to be able to gravity drain.
when are you going to post the video to build the turbo in the truck
In the process of rebuilding the engine as soon as the engines together and in I’ll be doing the turbo install
Do they make something similar for the newer L86 6.2?
I don’t know of any truck turbo kits for the LT engines. But I haven’t looked much
Came for the turbo kit. Stayed for the dope Patriots flag in the background Lol
wher can i find actual reviews on that radiator and fan set up id like to see befor and after results

@@VargasOso642 no it won’t cause any issues. It’s just an in used feature of the radiator if you don’t.
@@VargasOso642 I don’t think so but that will give u more cooling not much but some
@@CaswellCustoms cool thank you!!
So when is it gonna be installed?
The machine shop has had my engine for 2 months so as soon as I get that back and reassembled
How did you make out with the kit?
Where's the install video? It's been 10 months bro.....
Do you pay all my expenses? I didn’t think so, it’s coming but I’ve had other things in my life more important.
@@CaswellCustoms doubt it.
