Beautiful. He made me teary. He sang so emotionally as if he really missed his family/home and his voice is perfect!! No lip licking and the heavy breathing almost complete gone. He must've been working really hard!

I think all the judges know that David is special and know he will be successful, and may even feel it hard to judge someone with his vocal talents combined with his youth in front of a world audience.

DAVID ARCHULETA is different in the sense that he can appeal to a wider AUDIENCE...guys, girls, old, young, gay, straight. He represents a younger generation of maturity. He has everything going for him... his good looks, smooth sincere vocals, charming, young, & what a great personality. I can even see him on the disney channel as well as MTV. HAving said that i HIGHLY DOUBT "MTV" will play a clay aiken or melinda dolittle music video. & if they do, it wont be successful :-(

Suggested song choice for David Archuleta for the AI Final: "Wild is The Wind", a 1950's ballad re-recorded a few years ago by George Michael and Barbra Streisand. Their versions of the song are haunting but David's version will certainly bring the house down.

I believe David A. is America's favorite. However, A.I. has weeks to go, and they don't want us getting uninterested and not watch, so it doesn't surprise me they move their praise around to different contestants each week. If you believe Archuleta is the best just stick to voting weekly.

He has had three stellar performances: "Shop Around," "Imagine", and "The Long and Winding Road." The others are average. I like smooth singers, don't get me wrong, but David is really beginning to come across as Broadway or cruise ship material. I don't know that I would go to a concert to see him.
