There are times when I set my tension to zero. You really just have to test to see what works. Especially for satin stitching, I lower the tension to 1.8 or 1.6
When I get breakage, I lower my tension to fix it. Also, I don’t know why, but my regular foot works 100 times better than my embroidery foot. Try it as a test. I accidentally forgot to change the feet out for an embroidery, and it came out fabulous.
