I'm on the fence about buying these now. I like the look of these because the cable is detachable and other parts are easily replaceable. I have a pair of Razor Krakens with 50mm drivers that I have to keep fiddling with when they're on my head. The bass is nice, but I prefer clarity. The open design of these headphones are supposed to create a better soundscape or something, which sounds awesome. I feel that with the GDL3, they'll last me a long time. My Razor Krakens are losing sound in the left cup and the cable broke off and is exposed at the volume control and I can't replace it the way I could with the GLD3. This is a tough decision.

Hmmmm, he didn’t say a single word about a 24hr break in period. What a shame, this was almost a reliable review.

I'm looking for an open-back headphone (I'm a student that needs to listen to many online lectures) as my Sennheiser is just too small for my ears. They get overheated all the time and that can lead to having earaches. So, I'm buying more as a student than as a serious gamer. Keeping that in mind- is there better open-backs that are in reasonable price? or will this do its job well?

Did you review these headphones with Dolby Atmos or THX?

I really wanna know if it's friendly towards people wearing glasses like me, you know. Sometimes when you put your headsets on, you'll feel your head is so clamped by your headset and it's quite annoying. I do wanna know how's the comfort of this headset in which you have a big head, strangely big ears and a pair of glasses on. lol

I can't totally tell you but I think it'll feel nice still. It's light enough that it won't put heaps of pressure on your glasses.

How do these compare to the old adg1 and adg1x series, they’re much cheaper which is odd, I’d imagine there’d be a trade off in someway like sound or mic quality

The drivers are smaller, 45mm compared to 53mm in the ADG1x...I own the ADG1x

When the Sennheiser PC38X exist at the same price when they go on sell (which they often do), these AT seems pointless.
Even at US $99, there's the Sennheiser PC37X

so you assume even the pc37x is better than these? Why? Just curious
