Mass Effect: Andromeda is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts for Xbox One, Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4. The game is scheduled for release in North America on March 21, 2017 and in Europe on March 23. It will be the fourth entry overall in the Mass Effect series and the first since Mass Effect 3 (2012). The game begins within the Milky Way Galaxy during the 22nd century, where humanity is planning to populate new home worlds in the Andromeda Galaxy as part of a strategy called the Andromeda Initiative. The player assumes the role of either Sara or Scott Ryder, an inexperienced military recruit who joins the Initiative and wakes up in Andromeda following a 600-year journey.

Thanks for the very informative vid JV! This is the exact kind of thing I wonder about in games. Any time I can cheese the game into giving me better loot, I have an unfortunate tendency to keep doing that (to the point of not getting anywhere in games, lol).
While I had already discovered the proximity triggering mechanic (it works the same as inquisition), this video does confirm things and give plenty more useful info. Much appreciated!

I found the Remnant Heritage Chest armor doesn't actually have level restrictions on it. I'm currently lvl 56 wearing the MK X (lvl 80) version of it and have been since about level 40. None of the other armors seem to have this glitch so I'm enjoying it while I can. I wish the Nexus level didn't cap at 20 though... still so many cryo pod perks I'd like to get. Also, lvl 53 is when every squadmate maxes out their skills.

in order to get a certain item do u have to have had that item at some point in the game or can u get it through your method?
Do hidden caches refill after a certain amount of time or reloading the game? As in, can you loot the same cache several times or is it permanently depleted after looting it?
POSSIBLE SPOILERS I don't think it's proximity based. The earliest container that you can reroll for items is after Habitat 7 when you first enter the Nexus. There's a container next to the security console. I saved literally right next to it and was able to reroll repeatedly and keep getting different items.
Not true, as the containers on Habitat 7 are also randomly generated and re-rollable.
Simple question and I hope there is an easy answer. I'm playing this on PC. How do I save my custom colors for my equipment? I don't see a 'save' option anywhere. I go in, change the colors, and I have 2 options. Neither are save. Please and thank you.

im 35 hours and im still not certain, i think their used to create UV Remnant Augmentations you would normally get from completing a vault
The remnant crates aren't necessarily boxy like that, i think that's mainly on Harvarl
What's the tech armor you have there? The orange mesh that lights up?
Stephen Wakeman just a passive animation because of the class he is playing. Biotics get like a purple electric looking animation when they jump and dash
Stephen Wakeman His sentinel profile allows him to gain tech armor when in combat. It's the passive version of the tech armor from the trilogy.
No, the orange mesh; it looks like Sentinel Tech armor from ME2.
The Orange armor is the sentinel profile special ability - tech armor. It IS functional, adding an extra layer of armor between health and shields. But, it lights up orange whenever you are hit (just graphical)
Stephen Wakeman I explained it to you. That orange mesh is the tech armor from the Sentinel profile, but unlike the trilogy it functions as a passive. Or are you talking to another person, in which as you probably should have stated his/her name?

The save method you mentioned is completely wrong. You can do it by saving right next to the container whilst having the items you got from the last save. First you open the container, ideally do it before going to eos. The best one for me was in operations behind crates just after arriving at the nexus for the first time. Most time I done this I got ultra rare weapons like n7 hurricane and piranha. After opening the container take everything except of one thing. This will allow you to open it again. Now save and reload the save you just made and open the refilled container and do the same thing. You can repeat this process forever but you must leave one thing in the container. You don't have to be far away from the container to save
I love your vids. but I completely disagree with doing the save thing for rng. a good part of the fun is not knowing and working with what you get. and that totally ruines the immersion. but that last part thanks for it

So... since this is quite similar to Dragon age Inquisition, I wonder... Does grab one item, save and reload glich will work and give unlimited items, has anyone try it out?

Naysayers beware, the game I'd picking up steam! While I and everyone who has purchased it knows is not a perfect game by No Means. Although there is a shit ton of great things about the game and everyone is also see that too. Don't let critical negativity make you miss out on a problemed (lol) but fun game none the less!

hey JV. I have a very serious question.
I knew this game has been getting blasted like it is no one's business. But, please here me out on this.
Now I know you are a very knowledgeable person when it comes to Mass Effect Lore. But all these problems with ME:A could be something simple as....The Indoctrination Theory. I know that at first it doesn't sound plausible. But trust me, it starts making too much since. When you a first diving into the game I noticed everything seemed a bit off. With how everyone was acting and how certain Areas of the game seem very Red Flaggy. *coughs* The Nexus...I know that the facial animations are a little bad. But instead of looking at those as bad editing, but instead go deeper into the problem to find the solution. I know I don't need to explain anything in the game, as an example because honestly I couldn't do that here in the comments, because I will not spoil anything about this game. Because for one I have only watch a silent walkthrough of the game and watched about 4 hours worth of video. Before looking on RUclips to see how the game is getting received. But then I saw how poorly all the RUclips channels are doing this game. Too many people are out there shlobbing the same Nob.
I know this is a very long comment but it is something I feel like if anyone could either look deeper into this or just come out right and make a video about this Theory of mine. Which is that Reaper Tech has been used and is being used and no one even sees it. I haven't heard of one topic brought up about this but hopefully you might be able to give my mind some answers because even right now I am having trouble, not typing more.

Does anyone know how to take off the helmet on breath able planets
in the gameplay settings select helmet off in cutscenes and always or whatever the option is. Same for your squadmates.
You have no idea about container types... Your "small" Remnant container was a medium and you can find research nodes/generators/terminals/etc. that end up being containers and not what you think they are.
Reloading containers seems like such a waste of time to me. You can just craft all the gear you want. And if you're concerned about materials, you can buy them easily.
What can the remnant cores be used for?
I wish they balanced the guns properly they made almost every assault rifle crap and made the pistols great this was done to balance MP in a way but I'm playing the SP on hardcore and the phalanx is the strongest weapon I have found and I have a ton of N7 weapons it's stupid and they need to change gun stats before it affects the MP too badly

Shinychicken1000 There's no "best weapon" in this game. Some weapons are more effective against some enemies and weaker against others. Some people might prefer an automatic rifle over a single burst one or a pistol over a sniper rifle.

Pretty sure there isn't a level cap, so technically there is already unlimited skill points depending on how much you are willing to grind for XP. I haven't seen many videos on credits though, so I would happily take a credit glitch of some kind.
How do you grind xp? Do the enemies respawn?
Save scum loading to get items is repetitive, tedious, and also pointless in ME A since it doesn't matter.
Looks like this glitch has been eliminated with Patch 1.05.

What you call rerolling is called save scumming. As others have pointed out in your comments it is cheating the game. I don't care if you do this but let me tell you now it will ruin your fun with the game eventually.
I used to play Diablo 3 and once I found out a save scum to get rare items it killed the game for me. Save scumming can become addictive and that is all you will do and never even complete the game.

They're just little boosts. you don't need them to beat the game. If you want certain items so badly just spawn them in. It's pretty much what you're doing but faster.

Pro-tip; Explore Havarl as much as possible, mineral containers contain ALOT of useful minerals.
