    Lovely stretches!
    I got a tight lower back and hamstrings.... not gotten painful yet but I want to work on it before it does.
    I do like the hamstring and hip stretches where you lean forwards, so I appreciate the tip on maintaining a straight back.

    Even these stretches are painful for me, maybe I've got poor technique. I've found the only stretch that works for me is learning to do the splits, on both sides to keep both sides balanced. I was able to comfortably do te splits on both sides before my back went bad, 5 years ago. Perhaps I'm hypermobile which could well be the issue. Saying that my back has improved significantly over the past 5 years and has almost entirely gone now. I've realised that hip hanging is also a problem of mine.

      I would consider working on strengthening the hamstrings which has been shown to improve flexibility. Especially if you are hyper mobile

    I'm 63 and over stretched mine.niow my left butt hurts when I sit. Few falls too.help plz.tyvm
