Reds after ‘90 World Series, Expos after ‘94 Strike.
How about the Washington Football Team collapsing from a 14-2 Super Bowl championship season in 1991 to 4-12 in 1993, and 3-13 the year after, and overall Knicks-esque incompetence since? That would make a good episode.
Letting the establishment dictate your verbiage, eh? 🤣🙄Just say Redskins, man. Youre not going to get sent to the principal's office, i promise.
Jack Nicklaus finished first in a major golf tournament 18 times, Second place an astonishing 19 times, third 9 times. This is unparalleled, and came against the likes of Arnold Palmer Gary Player Tom Watson Sam Snead Billy Casper and others. He has said on a number of occasions, if he’d known someone later would be chasing his record he would have tried to win more, and I have no doubt that he could have. Jack has not received near the attention he deserves, because of these accomplishments.
Do something on Hicham El Guerrouj (Mile world record holder, who fell in the 1996 olympics, got a stunning 2nd in 2000, then won gold in 2004 in 2 events)
I'd take anything track and field related to be honest, but yea that would be a good one.
And he was like 150 meters away from the OLYMPIC field when he won. Wtf was that man made of
Tbh i really don’t call this one a collapse tiger have done enough for 2 lifetimes if anything he could have retired in 2010 or 2011 but he kept playing because of his love of the game but at the end of the day he is still the 🐐🤷🏽♂️
That isn't what a collapse is. He could have had 30 Majors and 120 wins by then but it would still have bee a collapse for him to fall so far and not win any major and only a few tournaments during the prime of a golfer's career.
Do the thunder now that westbrook is gone
@@Whis__ true its just the first thing that came to mind
Tiger screwed up but he came back in a major way, period.
Who’s here after his car accident ;(
Could do some soccer collapses, such as arsenal or AC Milan, or even relegated clubs such as Nottingham forest or Leeds
If he didn’t change his swing like 5 times and spend a year adjusting to it he would have been the undisputed GOAT.
His obsession with being the best prevented him from getting there.
That definitely is a key component to his decline, but it doesn't tell the entire story.
I still remember that 2013 season, I was only 5
Thank God for this new Collapse vid. It's a long worth wait. 😊. I'm personally waiting for the vids about Ottawa Senators, Phoenix Suns.
waiting also the episodes of the worst.
UCL final
premier league game
home run derby
worst nba postseason
worst super bowl 53
Do a rewind on his 2019 masters win
You should a chronicle about players/teams having awesome seasons or careers after sucking for a long time. Like the Braves/Twins WS. A series about rebounds.
Tiger is the type of athlete that you want to hate so bad but you just can’t help but to cheer for him
12 PackersFan why do you want to hate him?
Austin Priest hes a disgusting human
@@GaTech379 Is he?
@@GaTech379 not really.
Athlete. The guy plays golf.
I know they don’t really do hockey and/or Canadian teams, but the 11 Canucks, 16 Senators and 94 Expos all would be interesting collapse videos. Or a Rewind of Kawhi Leonard’s shot against Philly.
So this totally popped up in my recommendations today. Weird.
Was looking for this. That crash was rough. At least we have a video showing how resilient he is
Tiger is and always has been, my favourite athlete. To this day, reading about his collapse in '09 or hearing about the crazy amount of women he cheated on his gorgeous wife with still haunts me (why didn't he ever consider maybe getting a second phone or not leaving messages with his name?!).
I guess his epic downfall has made his comeback and win at Augusta even sweeter. What a hero!
He’s still a scumbag. Could have easily had that comeback without detonating his family.
Are you really getting upset about how poorly he planned out cheating on his wife?
I really liked that y'all did a collapse episode where the subject get redeemed at the end. Usually they still suck, great idea
EA Sports really outdid themselves in the next PGA Tour game though
That whole affair thing has me thinking about how obsessed the media can be sometimes about personal lives. I remember hearing so much about it like he cheated on the queen or something. I feel like the only people that cared were old people that pick up those tabloids in stores, and the media. I'm not excusing cheating at all, but at the same time that should be between the respective people involved.
i remember watching that open playoff when i was like 10. i wasn't even interested in golf at all at that point, but i sat and watched the whole thing. never knew it was gonna be such a significant moment.
A "little"redemption? Probably one of the greatest comebacks in history man, take a look at the factors. When he dropped off he had inspired a new generation of players in his image. By the time he came back in 2018 he was old and his main competitors were younger, could hit it further and had applied all the things the learned from watching thier hero growing up. So, to then beat them in the Masters, literally a tournament in spring the season of rebirth....I mean its poetic.
You should do a "Rewind" episode about the Brazil vs Italy 1994 FIFA World Cup Final. Brazil's first World Cup since 1970, when they beaten the same Italy
Very convenient time to have this recommended
Loved the video. That analogy at the beginning was... ambitious.
You should have a video about the collapse of Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic after lose the NBA Finals
@Michael Harvey i think you are right. They are the most impatient Finals teams
to this day it still confuses me why or how anyone other than his wife and Mother felt they were owed an explanation or apology for his actions
NASCAR Beef: Dale Earnhardt Jr Vs. Teresa Earnhardt
Yes sb nation make this happen
Oh agreed, this was a nasty feud. Teresa is a terrible person.
@@JerBuster77 can you give me a tldr, don't follow NASCAR
Saša Slijepčević basically DALE EARNHARDT Jr left DALE EARNHARDT INCORPORATED bc his evil witch of a stepmom wanted control of his name.
Been waiting for this!
Nobody is perfect, nobody is pure, forgiveness is the key to growth
What is the song starting at 9:06 ?
The Jordan Speith collapse episode should be epic
That line about soup in the microwave alone got my like
Do you guys have a Elway and the drive video? If not that’d be a cool one
Definitely should've ended the video saying something like "You can always recover from collapse." I personally love when the series name is added into the script, just makes it more satisfying IMHO.
this needs an update
I know it’s recent and it involves a sport that’s not very American centric (Cricket) but at some point in the future can you please do the England New Zealand World Cup Final rewind?
Do a rewinder on Steven Bradbury unexpected gold medal in the short tack speed skating in 2002
This could be interesting considering the he shouldn't have been in the final had it not been for his opponents in the semi-final crashing. Bradbury was dead last in both his Semi-Final and Final, but ended up the winner
Do a rewinder of the 1988 Olympics Men’s 100m sprint where Ben Johnson won but got disqualified for doping
Rewind on the 2010 WC semifinal between Ghana and Uruguay the 1999 CL final between Man Utd and Bayern Munich
I’ve been waiting for a new collapse story. Thank you 🙌🏻
Could we get a Montreal Expos collapse video? I dont know if another team has ever gone from top contenders to non-existent in the span of a couple years.
Collapse on Arsenal(2004-2019) ,Blackburn Rovers(1995-2011), Man United (2013-2019)
Billy Payne had no business speaking to Tiger in that manner. If Earl were still alive at the time, he wouldn't have dreamed of speaking to him that way. Guaranteed!
True. After all Tiger has done for the support he did not need to pile on
@Marie Taylor he had every right tiger did some awful things and he deserves every criticism he got. He disappointed his fans, league, and sponsors.
what’s with the exact same dust filter being used in all the still shots in this video lmao
They should do the Lewis Hamilton vs Felipe Massa 2008 championship in Brazil because it is so amazing how an entire year of racing and the championship on the line can change in one corner
I was at a casino in Vegas when I happened to stop by a craps table and they were showing the last hole during the Tiger majors win. Everyone was cheering when he won, it was a special moment
Great vid by sb nation . Not really a golf fan but I think it's undeniable that he's the goat . At least of the modern era
Can you do a Cody parkey missed fg rewind?
That one hurts to recall... Damn blocked kick by the Eagles 😭😭
Do a video about comebacks like the Patriots vs Falcons in the Superbowl, or famous Champions League comebacks like Instanbul 2005 Liverpool vs AC Milan , or Barcelona 1999 Bayern vs Man United or do b the beef between Roy Keane and Patrick Viera
How the Oklahoma City Thunder drafted three MVP's back to back to back and managed only one NBA Finals appearance.
Durant was drafted by the Seattle SuperSonics.
That video is out already btw
Finally a new Episode of Collapse!! Yes!
Love how this episode was handled. Well done. Lets examine the collapse of the Pittsburgh Pirates after three straight trips to the NLCS. Did Sid Bream cause 20 years of suffering?
They treated Tiger like he broke the law
Might be time to amend this episode 😬
Watching this in Bangkok. Tigers ancestral home.
Anyone else get this recommended the day after his car crash?
Yep
You should do Miami's collapse from near dynasty to mediocre team at best in the 00s after losing to Ohio State.
You should do a Houston Astros Collapse starting in at least 2004 until the consecutive 100 loss seasons
