pretty sure they did not release it on Nexus because every user would have to purchase the premium plan to avoid the 2mb/s limitation.

Not that the premium limit is that great, I was lucky to get 15mb/s. Try that with the StoryWealth collection. London is even bigger.
I believe there was a statement about that where the Nexus team even encouraged the move for that very reason. Something about a hard time limit before the connection is severed and the download would need to restart from scratch. Makes no sense to have a mod that naturally takes longer than that limit for those without a subscription.

@@DNye It would require a huge amount of paperwork to get permission from Bethesda to support this mod as a separate game download on its own, plus also Bethesda probably would not support this being free I imagine.

@@SirvalianStill waiting for it to release personally before passing judgement. These huge project mods can be **very** hit or miss, the Frontier and New California mods for New Vegas come to mind.

No it wouldn't lol, look at the vids the city is massive Boston was barely stable on good hardware this is a permanent concept I'd bet this youtuber we ain't seeing a full release ever. They will make excuses then apologize and get hired by a company its how the industry works now, why can't we contact the developer that's not transparent, this team realized at the end of years of work it is not working, it happens. Problem is they revealed cool videos to soon and got everyone excited lolol.

@@DNye Ngl it is dumb seeing how for the most part everyone downgrades skyrim to play their mods i dont see why they wouldnt for fallout london, it just makes it so more mods are incompatible.
@@malcolmhj1a I bet you that they never planned the release in April.. The Next Gen update doesnt hinder any mods (because you can just not upgrade or even downgrade to older version) even if they say they work towards the next gen update I don't buy it at all
Uh huh so the truth finally comes out. Instead of lying and blaming it solely on F4SE and the “next gen” Bethesda update, they should’ve just admitted everything mentioned in this video. And the community would’ve been fine. As such with complete silence even though F4SE was updated within DAYS, it’s been almost two mo the now without a peep. My guess is it’s still a half a year away
They said they were ready for release but I’m sure the delay was a mixture of a few different things

@@cultofape1000They could have just released it for the previous patch if they had everything ready. Even for regular modded fallout the next-gen patch is still best to avoid.
They lied and the code and mod itself is broken and don't wanna admit it. They compartmentalize work loads then when they went to put it all together it doesn't work.... that's why bethesda isn't as bad as people claim, these kinda games are very difficult to make and have working enough to be enjoyable most people don't understand the layers and cohesion fallout 4 took to make, and it still has its ups and downs. I'm glad these guys will get exposed london is dead

They wouldn’t work on it. Just use their resources to publish it. That’s how it works out in my head as a perfect idea at least 😂

They can't sell it separately. Supporting a mod developer working on a mod for an existing game is completely different than selling a standalone product using existing IP. They would have to deal with a massive amount of legal, licensing, trademark and copyright issues related to use of the Fallout IP.

I think that’s where the mod team is from. There are also mods being made in Miami and Seattle
There are already fallout esk games about Russia. Time better spent on places we haven't seen in post apocalyptic settings before.
