Check out Patrick Gavia's documentary on Francis and just try to grasp what that dude went through in life, he had no time to master MMA as some of these guys did at an earlier age. He had to work his way up and prove himself so he could get better sparing partners and coaches, that doesn't come overnight. The bottom line is, if those 'boring' fights were to happen again, Francis would destroy them like it wasn't even a competition. In my opinion, whoever wins in Jones vs Gane, we will never know who's the best, unless uncle Dana makes it happen somehow, like a 1 fight contract. I strongly believe that would be one of the best heavyweight fights ever.

I dunno, Jones may have been able to do it naturally with discipline and good eating... However, we all know he hasn't been able to compete without the juice EVER. Even when he fought Anthony Smith his levels were all messed up and you wouldn't think he needed the juice for that fight but he did. That's why Reyes looked so good against him, because that's probably the most natural Jon had been his entire career and he barely won, in my opinion he lost that fight but the UFC didn't want that to happen to one of their cash cows. Hence him taking a step back and switching to heavy weight cuz the guys are older, heavier, and it'd give him plenty of time to juice up and accommodate the extra weight gain. When you look at the whole picture Jones made the best decision for his career. My only question is where the fk is usada? Why are they testing Jiri so much, when Jon is the one who had the messed up levels. Have they been testing Jon at all? Aren't you supposed to be in the testing pool for 6 months? So they've been testing Jon since what October or sooner? I don't believe that one bit. Where's the proof he's been tested at all, and what are his levels ? Notice how we all know Jiri was tested 100 times but we have no context to Jones? We know cejudo been tested but we don't know about Jones?
