And David too, very genuine and authentic and skilled. I loved this analysis the best of all I've watched you guys done. Please continue doing this amazingly brilliant work.
I don’t understand why, with the reach both of these guys have, they don’t just promote it themselves. Jon is arguably one of the most recognizable UFC athletes period, usually getting mainstream recognition. Francis went on a rampage and left the UFC in a very big way, drawing curious out on what he’ll do next. They literally only have each other in their talent and size category. My money is still on Jones, but if they promote it themselves, they cut uncle Dana out of the picture and could earn hundreds of millions of dollars. It’d be the biggest fight in MMA history.
As long as Jon is under contract there is no cutting Dana out. Unfortunately I think he signed a 6 fight contract and only plans to fight 1 of those and retire. Time will tell I guess
What, and fight in someone's backyard? The fighters are the tip of the iceberg. There's promotion, sanctioning, testing, judges, events, venue. Someone has to do that hence why it took a while for Francis to sign to an organisation to do all that for him. They'd have to sign to a promotion to get a sanctioned fight.
@@TheFlamingChips Sure. I guess in my head they'd pull a Mayweather and buy or start a promotion. Both fighters are near the age of retirement, so it's not like they'd need more than a few more fights to see a similar amount of combat before they retire. In my opinion, and if it were me, I'd want to see the type of returns that only certain caliber of fighters get the opportunity to see. Just my opinion.

Jon is so smart. He knows that he is a big draw and he is nearing the end. That's why he keeps calling the "other guy" pussy because he knows it is a huge paycheck because right now, there's no real big names that will draw more PPV then Jon vs. Francis.
He's calling him that now because he knows Francis can't fight him. He was real quiet for 3 years, now doing damage control. He's smart alright.

@@WaGwan-n6x Jones is champ, Francis ran to a league nobody cares or knows about.
@@DeOwn he’s been talking about moving to HW since 2013 and was teasing HW fights against Stipe for 2019 events. If you had the brain capacity to remember anything before the last thing Dana said at a press conference you’d know this.
And it doesn’t take 3 years to put on 18lbs lmao
@SM-fk5or Jones would submit him in the 1st or 2nd round like he did Gane! Francis don't belong in the same sentence with Bones Jones. Francis defended his title 2 times and has fought a bunch of old dudes besides gane and stipe! Jones ran an entire division for years and now to ngannou division as well why he ran to a different promotion when Jon moved up
I really like your analysis guys..... You guys are a perfect duo. I love how Alex brings a vibrant mood to the table, and he is incredibly skilled as well.
@@tor3699 oh good point
What, and fight in someone's backyard?
The fighters are the tip of the iceberg. There's promotion, sanctioning, testing, judges, events, venue. Someone has to do that hence why it took a while for Francis to sign to an organisation to do all that for him. They'd have to sign to a promotion to get a sanctioned fight.
@@TheFlamingChips Sure. I guess in my head they'd pull a Mayweather and buy or start a promotion. I understand you will counter with the cost to such an endeavor; the fact is i have been a proponent of successful people starting their own companies. Can't happen everywhere, but should happen some places. Both fighters are near the age of retirement, so it's not like they'd need more than a few more fights to see a similar amount of combat before they retire. In my opinion, and if it were me, I'd want to see the type of returns that only certain caliber of fighters get the opportunity to see. Just my opinion.
