Staying sober isn't the problem. Just dont harm others. If substance is the cause of problem that makes you to harm others? Than don't expose your self to public or any other people while you're at it. You can be high or drunk and have good time in safe zone. Just don't cause problems to others.

The fighters are the tip of the iceberg. There's promotion, sanctioning, testing, judges, events, venue. Someone has to do that hence why it took a while for Francis to sign to an organisation to do all that for him. They'd have to sign to a promotion to get a sanctioned fight.

Can't happen everywhere, but should happen some places. Both fighters are near the age of retirement, so it's not like they'd need more than a few more fights to see a similar amount of combat before they retire. A hell of a lot more talent in MMA in the lighter weight classes and thats just facts. Really wish Jones wasnt so big so he could fight people that have a lot more skill in all of MMA and not just a striker or a wrestler with some striking. Or people who were already done.
